The latest victim is **Richard Tamfu**, a prominent human rights lawyer, who was **brutally beaten by gendarmes** while courageously defending a client. This is not an isolated incident but part of a systematic campaign to suppress free speech, dismantle press freedom, and eliminate dissent.

For decades, the people of Cameroun and Southern Cameroons have endured the wrath of a regime that views justice, accountability, and human rights as threats to its survival. Reports from credible bodies like the **United Nations Committee Against Torture (CAT)** have repeatedly condemned Cameroun for its horrifying record of **arbitrary arrests**, **torture**, and **inhumane treatment** of anyone who dares to speak out. The CAT report highlights that **Cameroun routinely uses violence to silence human rights defenders, journalists, and activists**, ensuring that no narrative but its own reaches the world.

**Press censorship in Cameroun** is another glaring testament to its authoritarianism. Independent journalists are harassed, detained, or forced into exile. Media outlets that refuse to toe the government’s line are shut down, while international organizations attempting to document these abuses are obstructed. Cameroun is effectively a **graveyard for press freedom**, where dissenting voices are treated as enemies of the state.

Norway’s Human Rights Hypocrisy: A Blatant Abuse of Justice

Yesterday, Dr. Cho Ayaba, leader of the Ambazonian War of Liberation, faced a hearing marking the end of an unjust four-week detention extension. Norwegian authorities had argued they needed more time to investigate and prevent evidence tampering—yet in two months, despite seizing his gadgets, ransacking his home, and traumatizing his children by interrogating them in school, they have found no proof of wrongdoing.

In an outrageous turn of events, his detention has been extended yet again for another four weeks, citing the same baseless excuse of “evidence tampering.” This shameless overreach by @kriposnews, sanctioned by Norwegian institutions, is a betrayal of the human rights standards Norway claims to uphold.

Norway, @justisdep, @NorwayMFA, and @NorwayUN, must answer for this appalling abuse of justice. The actions of KRIPOS**—including coercive questioning of children to fabricate claims against their father—are not only inhumane but politically motivated. Norway’s complicity in suppressing Dr. Ayaba aligns it with oppressive regimes like Cameroon, whose crimes include the slaughter of **30,000 Ambazonians.

This case lays bare the hypocrisy of Norway’s “justice system” and @politinorge, where laws are selectively applied for political expediency. As a member of the @coe, Norway has a responsibility to protect human rights, yet it now undermines these values in exchange for economic and diplomatic favors. Norway’s actions further diminish its global credibility and tarnish its moral standing as a human rights champion.

My heart is heavy as I write this; the weight of our pain is immeasurable. I struggled to find the words, but we must speak for our mothers, our families, and our communities. We must present their pain and anguish to the world, for their suffering must not go unnoticed.

This morning, 8 innocent Ambazonian lives were brutally taken by Cameroon’s military, authorized by Divisional Officer Okalai Bilai in the Northern Zone. Over 50 people are missing, while others have been arbitrarily arrested without due process—simply for being young Ambazonian men. The Cameroon military has unleashed a wave of terror, burning homes, killing civilians, and conducting systematic arrests.

Where is the international community's voice when Cameroon commits these atrocities? Why is Dr. Cho Ayaba, a staunch defender of Ambazonian rights, unjustly arrested by Norwegian authorities under Cameroon’s influence, accused of incitement, while Paul Biya's regime continues its genocide in Ambazonia with impunity?

This is a massacre—a calculated attempt to annihilate the Ambazonian people. We demand to know why the world stays silent. Where are the global condemnations for the mass arrests, the extrajudicial killings, the systematic destruction of Ambazonian communities, and the gross violations of human rights and international law?

Why is Cameroon not being held accountable, while any voice daring to challenge its systematic killings and human rights violations is hunted, arrested, and forced into exile? Why are those who speak out against injustice targeted, while the perpetrators walk free?

Why does the international community prioritize conflicts like Ukraine and Palestine while turning a blind eye to the genocide and thousands of lives lost in Ambazonia? Here are other members of Cameroun’s Parliament from Southern Cameroons who dared to speak after out Hon. Joseph Wirba against the brutal massacres and genocide in #Ambazonia have faced severe consequences under #DictatorPaulBiya’s regime. Many, like Hon. Paulinus Jua and Hon. Andrew Nkea, were hunted down, arrested, dismissed, or forced into hiding for condemning the atrocities and standing up for the truth. This is the price of truth in Cameroon—a nation determined to silence anyone exposing its heinous crimes and impunity.

Cameroon’s latest target is Dr. Cho Ayaba, who was unjustly detained by Norwegian authorities—an act showing Cameroon’s insidious influence and the complicity of international powers. This is not an isolated incident; it is part of a calculated and systematic campaign by Cameroon, supported by international allies, to crush human rights activists, freedom fighters, and defenders of justice.
