The first Russian soldier born in 2008 has been killed in the war against Ukraine
When Putin announced the start of the invasion in 2022, Alisher Svirin was 14 years old.
By the age of 18, he signed a contract, became a machine gunner, and was killed on May 1, 2026. He had been at the front for only a few months.
BBC together with “Mediazona” reports that since the start of the war, at least 200 “Putin’s boys” aged 18 have been killed on the front lines.
The authors of the investigation also identified three regions with the highest number of confirmed losses in Russia: Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, and the Moscow region.

@mfa_russia Moscow: still refusing to accept that Ukraine has its own history.
Living in denial is difficult. Building foreign policy around it is like insisting the sun revolves around the Kremlin. The rest of the world moved on decades ago.
@ZacksJerryRig@davepl1968 Price is the stupid part. But is very possible to do....
The real problem is the is 90-99% cheaper down to earth 🌍.... Unless they know something we don't it's stupid and impossible to maintain...
@ZacksJerryRig Sorry jerry but you are wrong. The video shows the gigantic white radiators. the big ones are the solar panels the white are the radiators. They have more than 10,000 satellites in orbit they know what they are doing. Very problem is the cost.
