The decision made by the British government to stop issuing student visas to Afghans is extremely unfair and hypocritic.
Afghans have been the victims of foreign wars and have lost many chances when it comes to their educations. Those countries involved in Afghanistan in the past 20 years should continue to support Afghans.

This is a discriminatory step taken by the British government and will have significant negative impact on the life and career building process of young Afghans.

Many Afghans benefited from the Chevening scholarship provided by the British government.

I call upon all the activists and human right organisations to condemn this change in law and support Afghans.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of civilian lives in the recent Pakistani aerial strikes on Afghanistan. A tragedy that claimed the lives of women, children, and aspiring young cricketers who dreamed of representing their nation on the world stage.

It is absolutely immoral and barbaric to target civilian infrastructure. These unjust and unlawful actions represent a grave violation of human rights and must not go unnoticed.

In light of the precious innocent souls lost, I welcome the ACB’s decision of withdrawing from upcoming fixtures against Pakistan. I stand with our people at this difficult time, our national dignity must come before all else.

Killing of Afghan civilians carried out by Pakistani Punjab Army is strongly condemned
Killing of women, children, journalists, civilians, targeting public places, homes, shopping centres, schools all part of war crimes. Targeting civilians in Speen Boldak in Kandahar, killing of journalists in Khost, hitting schools in Kabul are all war crimes.
We call upon all international human right organisations and United Nations to record all these attacks as part of war crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice. Killing of Afghan civilians must stop immediately!

A memory from my university days in 2016.
I was studying at Pune university and the India Times newspaper had an article about my book collection campaign and had my photo printed. At Uni everyone was talking about me and asked me if I was the guy who distribute books in Kandahar and remote areas. And I would say yes. They respected me for my work.
One afternoon I was riding a bike to my friends house and all of sudden a car beeped at me and I stopped my bike and stood by the side of road but the car still carried on beeping. I checked that it was police patrol car and I didn’t have a helmet . I was scared but the police smiled at me and said oh are you the guy distributing books and they read my story on the paper few days ago.
I told them yes but I was scared. The police officer smiled and apologised and said that I recognised you from you clothes and hat and deliberately stopped you. They praised my work and paid so much respect. It’s such a sweet memory

Haji Abdul Razaq is a well known homeopathic expert, an outstanding tribal leader and the head of chicken farmer society.
I spoke to him about the business opportunities in agriculture, alternative medicines that he is an expert of.
Many people visit him and take the homeopathic medicine from him. He has also solved many clashes between tribes. I wish him a happy and long life

We had a good chat with Haji Zahir Jaan Srak who is a very successful businessman and literary figure. He has a collection of valuable books and private museum in in Kandahar. People that visit Kandahar usual go to pay a visit to his library and museum. He is very kind and hospitable person.
This country needs people like Srak.
I would like to thank him for his hospitality and wish him all the very best

We prayed the evening prayer here at this village in Marouf, Kandahar. As leaving the mosque after prayers we spoke to many people and everybody asked us for different things to be done. A group of youth handed us a signed petition to build a cricket ground in the village. I promised them I will try my best and will respond to their request and for them to play cricket in their village

Daroo Khan blinded by landmine, his wish is to see his children.
He is from Marouf Dist of Kandahar, who was once a famous wrestler. He had a unique style of riding motorbike but a mind explosion blinded his both eyes. He went re India twice for treatment, the 3rd time he run of money to pay for his treatment.
I visited his home, he said his eyes could be treated but he needs help with the expenses.
He wishes to see his children, wrestle and ride motorbike again.
He asked for help and I promised I will do my best to fulfil his wishes.
Many Afghans have either lost their lives or got injured by land mines.
