Change of direction-specific triphasic training
@TOwens034, Director of S&C of @UW_Football, walks through a 3-exercise progression used in their off-season program to prepare athletes for the high-speed decel and cutting demands of football
From eccentric overload, to isokinetic loading for tendon health, to fast ballistic movement, each step builds the qualities needed to stay reactive and healthy on the field
Note: This demo was performed on a 1080 Sprint 2. In their weight room, they use the 1080 Quantum to handle the higher force demands of lower-body training for this population

Congratulations to the Tiger Football team on their Section 1AAA Championship! On to State! Next up- Holy Family Catholic on Saturday at 7:00 PM at Totino Grace High School!
Began training a Men’s college soccer player in late April to develop speed and power. They do a timed mile as a test and he wanted to get a better time as well. He gets his “summer program” from his coach and it’s CRAZY distance running.
I said to him “let’s just slide that workout in a folder. Play soccer and train to be faster and more powerful.” He trusted me.
The most “conditioning” he did (he played lots of his sport) was a few weeks of running Gear 3 Conditioning (12.5% incline, 60 yards R5) on @SHREDmillSpeed
His peak velo and peak takeoff velo on the @HawkinDynamics ⬆️
His gamespeed is noticeably different.
His @SHREDmillSpeed speed ⬆️
He tells me he has never felt better moving on the field.
Oh yeah…and he ran his first mile all summer today and it was his fastest time ever.
