@AndrewAllan9@jtimaging @GiedreAstra Is the beam reflecting off any dichroics or mirrors in the excitation path? How are these mounted? My first attempt to find the cause would be to make sure these dichroics/mirrors are not mounted under any stress that could cause them to bend slightly. Give this a go...
@ptrrupprecht@robmlees@OcanaSantero@aandr314@brunopichler@hb_cell What happens if you remove the analogue control to the Pockel cell by disconnecting the BNC? You would need to either adjust the bias manually or use a signal generator to apply the necessary voltage to the Pockel cell in order to get enough laser in the sample.
@brunopichler Nope, this is a first for me. Can you 'correct' the line scan at 1020nm if you misalign the beam into the x-galvo? Although there shouldn't be, maybe there is some AOI weirdness happening there.
@paqio@ChrisWilms23@Labrigger@brunopichler@robmlees @trose_neuro @MesoSpim Most definitely. In addition, I have a set of Allen keys with coloured plastic sleeves and had to shorten the length of the sleeve to reach certain screws. π
@PodgorskiLab@Labrigger@paqio@Thorlabs @trose_neuro Zaber have configured their drivers to run Thorlabs motors for me in the past. Worth asking them if they can drive the Dover Motion stages too.
