We are looking for a motivated Post-doctoral scholar to really push the envelope in metabolic imaging. Come join our group at MSK!

Fed v Fasted? Hard to determine non-invasively but maybe we can learn more about real time metabolic fluxes using an orthogonal approach, leveraging hyperpolarized fructose, great work from Celia and the lab! https://t.co/s6WUEIFZDR
Those who know me, know I’m not someone who changes his preferences & behaviors lightly. As Ron Swanson said, “I regret nothing. The end.” Well, let me tell you about our new study, out from @ThePerryLab@MSKCancerCenter in @ImmunityCP@CellPressNews, which is the exception. /1
Belated congrats to our newly minted Dr. Thomas Ruan! His new approach to reimagining the way we think about metabolic imaging data to come, stay tuned!
Research led by @KeshariLab, a biochemist and bioengineer at MSK, found that immune cells might be reprogrammed to use the body’s fructose — a naturally occurring sugar — as an energy source that supercharges them to fight cancer.
Learn more about this research and its potential application that goes beyond just immune cells. https://t.co/X2AOwGEyUX
What if you could quantitatively probe multiple redox pathways in a spatially resolved way in vivo non-invasively? Kudos to the hardworking of @SaketPatel92, Paola as well as all the co-authors in the lab for trailblazing! https://t.co/iE0S5clc4M
@KeshariLab had 3 talks @WMISWMIC ! Roberta's on a miniaturized nanocoil for HP experiments, Kayvan giving a field update on hyperpolarization, and my own on HP DHA/PA in brain tumors.
We had 3 posters from the @KeshariLab at MSKCC at the World Molecular Imaging Congress in Montreal! @CeliaMartinez95 Thomas and Quin showcasing diverse work on metabolism of fructosamine, fructose and the kinetics of HP pyruvate. @WMISWMIC
For those of you thinking of going nano to explore metabolic flux in mass limited samples, check out the new work from Roberta, Thasin and Thomas non-destructively measuring a quantitative flux in nanoliter samples of living human cells https://t.co/e15TySQFMP
Last fall, @GSKGraduateSchool launched The Pat and Ian Cook Doctoral Program in Cancer Engineering to train engineers to apply their skills against #cancer. Learn more about this first-of-its-kind program from co-directors @Dan_A_Heller & @KeshariLab: https://t.co/JbejRMjxd1
Congrats to Isaac and everyone from our labs to get this across the finish line! A long time coming, using isotope tracing and metabolic imaging approaches to better understand PDH deficiency. Hopefully something that will have impact in treating children https://t.co/jq0GyjvJTg
