Tesla Robotics
There is a lot of warranted hype over humanoid bots and their implication in raising GDP and bolstering labor force with an endless TAM. I find this extremely exciting and I’m bound to watching this progression unfold as a Mostly All-In Tesla shareholder.
My question is how far after humanoid bots in the labor force does the potential for using these progressively more advanced robot limbs as prosthesis? It seems to me that there is a logical partnership with NeuraLink as another company under the Musk umbrella ☂️, but putting assumptions aside this could have the same potential as selling FSD hardware packages to OEM’s for a leased self driving capability … what happens when Tesla makes their technology available to other companies in the biotech/health space to be integrated into a prosthetic?
I think this goes beyond just benefiting those missing limbs, how about weakened limbs from diseases affecting the CNS, deteriorating mobility and strength due to aging.
This has the potential to improve lives through obvious physical function for many but the psychological and emotional benefit of restoring a persons ability to function as an equal to their counterparts in society is truly monumental.
Just something I’ve been musing on a lot since I’ve seen the expeditious improvements in Boy technology. Thoughts all?

@TeslaBoomerMama@BoBbyPleWniaK I used to feel like a owner but as I’ve been let down a lot over the years with missed promises I feel like more of an investor and just want to divest a good percent of my holdings after the stock runs up from eventually following through on overpromises made years ago
Not intending sound dismissive with this. It really surprises me that this could be a genuine question from you, it speaks to a certain blindness. I have been an all in and now mostly Tesla investor for 6 years, bought all the ups and downs, I still believe in the company and its employees and the technology they are advancing. To say I’ve been been disappointed in the stocks performance would be accurate as a SP500 etf would have produced better results, or a simple lifting of the blinders from a “Tesla or bust” fandom could have revealed a much better return by catching the rise of NVDIA years ago but I ‘stayed true’ to Tesla. I’m not upset about any of that, my life would look differently sure. What I am and probably most are disappointed in is the ability for fervent members of this community to make excuses for Elon on the multitude of failed timelines he has put in place for over 5 years now, and it just keeps happening and will likely continue to happen. I used to agree that ‘prototypes are easy production is hard’ and ‘they are working on complex engineering solutions to problems no one has ever solved before’ narratives, but we need to take a step back and be honest that these fabricated timelines of FSD and Robotaxi’s covering 50% of the population, robots threading a needle by last year, when these promises are not kept over and over and are still made… they become outright LIES. I will widely defend Elon and Tesla on most things but it’s blatant stock manipulation to enthuse the crowds with near term performance metrics that end up being YEARS away. There is no making excuses for that, it’s not okay. No other CEO would be allowed to do that, or think they could get away with it.
@gigafactories This is soooo cool to watch, @tesla , thanking for taking us on this journey! Cant wait too see footage of the construction of the Optimus line
