@TDisputations You don't think there's a substantial moral difference between breaking off a marriage because of dissatisfaction but doing so without cheating vs breaking it off by cheating on your spouse?
@TDisputations@JerimiahLee When I used hinge, I often asked several of my matches if they wanted to go on a date. I was never once rejected.
The truth is, most GenZ men are just insufferable pussies and losers so they want to blame women instead for their failings.
@TDisputations Doesn’t matter. Slavery, rape, and genocide don’t become morally acceptable because you label the relevant law “civil” or “ceremonial.” The objection is that the text depicts God as commanding or permitting such acts.
@poperespecter1@RevIsaacWirtz Source?
Also, the lack of substantive documentation on the chain of custody of the sample should draw major skepticism. Not to mention if the evidence was sufficient, they should have had no problem submitting the findings for peer-review.
@poperespecter1@RevIsaacWirtz We often have no idea what the church finds because they don't publicly reveal their findings. Thats apart of the problem.
@CapturingChrist@farmingandJesus You act like peer-review is some kind of atheist plot when it exists so we don't make bullshit appear legitimate. Your special pleading for your "miracle" claims to be excluded from this process is ridiculous. Grow up.
@CapturingChrist@farmingandJesus Then submit the lab analysis for peer-review in an accredited journal. Why are you complaining about demanding the bare minimum to establish the veracity of a testable claim? If its so convincing, put it through the same rigor we do with anything else.
@TDisputations That cuts both ways. Catholics once widely regarded slavery as morally permissible, despite the Church now condemning slavery. So historical prevalence of a moral intuition doesn’t establish its truth, whether about slavery or gay sex.
