The Vast Control Unit (VCU), our flight computer, is ready for testing in the semi-anechoic chamber at Vast HQ. These tests will confirm the VCU won't cause electromagnetic interference with other systems on Haven-1, scheduled to be the world’s first commercial space station.

Haven-1 Experience is back at @SpaceFoundation's 41st Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, CO. Stop by the back patio of Bartolin Hall to tour our full-scale model of Haven-1, scheduled to be the world’s first commercial space station.
On Feb 4, 2026, Vast mission control executed a terminal deorbit burn guiding Haven Demo, our in-orbit testbed for space station technologies, to splashdown in the South Pacific Ocean. This demonstrates safe, controlled deorbit capability for future space station modules.
Mission complete. After three months in orbit and 49 tests completed validating critical systems, components, and processes, we have successfully performed a controlled deorbit of Haven Demo, our in-space testbed for Haven-1 technologies.

The @FAANews has made a favorable payload determination for Haven-1 following interagency review with NASA, the State Department, the Commerce Department, and national security stakeholders. This marks another step forward in launching Haven-1, expected to be the world's first commercial station when it is ready to launch in Q1 2027.
