@hrsparrow4 I enjoyed learning about his different methods for inclusion in the classroom. It was so interesting to see students with different abilities blend right into a classroom, helping each student feel as though they truly belong. #EDUC200#03Sp22
@oliviajfitz I learned how crucial it is to challenge students on all levels of the pyramid. If you hone in on one level too much, you lose the potential for higher learning. The Goldilocks challenge taught me that so many lessons can be learned from a simple fairytale. #EDUC200#03SP22
@oliviajfitz I enjoyed comparing these textbooks to the ones I used in elementary and middle school. It seems like they've moved towards a more progressive voice than those I have read! #EDUC20#03Sp22
@civicsgirl @S_L_Sanderson @NewsHourExtra I admire how much empathy the students were able to learn from these lessons! Related to cultures we're unfamiliar with is incredibly important to fulfilling history education. #EDUC200#03Sp22
Thank you @S_L_Sanderson @NewsHourExtra for writing about your students and the complexities of teaching history authentically! https://t.co/C4U4Dlv6w5 #civiced#sschat
@AmberJa48698670 Our class discussion involved a particularly difficult issue: how should we sort students with different skill levels? Hearing different opinions help us to see how difficult this problem really is. Tracking has many pros and cons, there is no clear solution. #educ200#03sp22
@katie__camp#03Sp22#EDUC200 The activity of brainstorming different forms of citations for the same source helped the information stick! I'll definitely be able to use this information in my next paper. It's cool how many different types of in-text citations there are for APA style.

I enjoyed continuing our discussion of the Eras of Education. It's interesting to compare our current system to the Scientific Management era and to see the effects of capitalism on our curriculum. We still teach children to be productive consumers, today!
@AbbieHogan25 I found it super interesting how many commonalities our education system today has with the systems centuries ago. Our timeline was helpful because we could see how our system changed along with major events throughout our history! #03Sp22#EDUC200
Today, we discussed different eras of education. We crafted a timeline and discussed the Mental Discipline era and the Humanistic Paradigm era. I enjoyed comparing education theories then and now, and exploring what influence they played on how our current system operates.#03Sp22
@ashley_clemenae I really enjoyed discussing the different articles and seeing how my experiences differ from other people's. I think it's really important to begin teaching these lessons at a young age, to create a better world where we don't have to see our differences as a bad thing. #03Sp22
Today in class, we discussed the article Do Children Have a Right to Literacy. We chose words summarizing the issue, and I chose the word Unbreakable. I liked the connections we made today to democracy and the dependent relationship between voting and literacy.

Today in class we discussed how schools distribute funding by their highest priorities. I thought it was interesting how the division between northern spending and southern sending is so prominent.
@katie__camp I think Sir Kensington also demonstrates dependability. Their second core value is acting with honor even when no one is looking. That allows every employee to trust each other, act honorably, and get the job done. #EDUC200#03Sp22
@sarcarr427 I can see the dependability created in this environment. The organization has sworn to give a β¬2 billion investment towards diverse businesses and flexible work options. This promise allows underrepresented groups to feel like they can count on their employer. #EDUC200#03Sp22
In this article, I saw the Meaning of Work. All of the participants got to come together and be a part of something, while also raising money for their organization. The article also touched on how this work can assist them in getting a job in the future. #EDUC200#03Sp22
