@robjeffecology@JoshFG He's been in 'campaign mode' for most of the year. Politicians have always done this on the run up to an election, get a photo of them pulling a pint, working a shift at McDonalds etc. to seem relatable, but he doesn't seem to be to shift out of this gear and do the job seriously
@JoshFG Agreed, part of communication skills is choosing signal and prioritisation of message. Is the most effective thing to communicate now in the role of PM which pub snacks he likes, what he thinks about a dancer on strictly, his music tastes, his favourite footballers etc?
@PolPeepShow I think you misunderstood his post, he was saying that it's the far left which are closer to Hitler's ideology i.e. it's not representative of his beliefs in the slightest.
@Christophe21615@_CallumAnderson It's also just the optics, on the same day the Government released a 'stock your cupboards and prepare for war' psyop. The amount of time he must spend in an a week doing social media posts etc. to seem relatable (including reshoots) just suggests his priorities aren't right
@Christophe21615@_CallumAnderson I didn't say it was 6 hours but the clips were edited down to their responses, not the full thing. Including the travel time set up etc. I suspect it was much longer than an hour out of his day, particularly if you add on to the time he has spent making instagram reels earlier
@OzKaterji Or perhaps a psyop like the recent claims that British kids will need to be called up to fight? Perhaps making cuts to services in the upcoming budget more palatable to fund forever wars. Having a few things in the cupboard is fine but this is clearly done in a way to stoke fear.
@DamCou It's because most 'tech correspondents' for the BBC are there to write hit pieces on 'tech bros', AI, crypto etc. which can only be written if you don't understand the subject matter. Knowing what you're talking about is a disadvantage at the BBC.
@poteto@davis7@bot@poteto It's already available on the steam deck and works quite well as it's just running on linux, go to desktop mode and install, quite a nice touch screen experience for using voice with the bots in a portable device which is bigger than a phone!
@DaveShapi Claude does great models but is so overly 'safety aligned' I find it refuses so much work it's unusable. Open AI models are okay but I get a fraction of the work I can do with Grok bot. Grok bot and Muse are the 2 most useful products out there to people.
@ChrisGPT Na I dont think so, it was inevitable Claude were working on some kind of agentic product as they're so much more useful. But all the early reviews put duet way behind grok bot, it's not just the underlying model, there's a lot about grok bot which makes the experience better
@DaveShapi I think you must be using a different product to me, my experience is its the best in class AI product bar none. You have plenty of others to choose from though if you fancy something else!
@prestonjbyrne Another pro bono case Preston now your great work for 4chan is wrapped up? Will it be hamsters or ponies this time for the world speech regulator? π
