@anwitht1 is one of the most cracked engineers that I've ever worked with.
Had many healthy debates around DOM states and how to reconcile sessions when calculating agent run times.
Keep an eye out for @tryripline
Update: I recently wrapped up my time working at @profound as a software engineer on the applied ai team. And, now I’m starting a company with @HridayUnadkat.
I originally met Hriday in sixth grade, funnily enough at our middle school’s innovation club. We’ve long since been best friends, and now we’re teaming up to start something new. It feels like the natural convergence of what we’ve both spent the last few years working on.
Most recently, I was working on scaling simulation compute at @SpaceX on the high performance computing team and building out the world’s first harness for marketing knowledge work at @profound.
Hriday was actually building his own two-stage rocket at @Princeton and more recently worked on the thermal engineering team at @SpaceX and the regulatory team at @reflectorbital.
Stay tuned. We’ll share more on September 2.
If you're curious about what we're building, my DMs are open.
Today, @profound is excited to announce our $96M Series C at a $1B valuation, led by @lightspeedvp with participation from @sequoia, @kleinerperkins, @mattevantic, @saga_ventures and @spc.
When we started Profound 18 months ago, we had two fundamental beliefs about where marketing is heading:
1. Every company will care deeply about how AI talks about their brand.
2. Every marketer will use AI Agents to do their best work, faster.
Those beliefs are becoming reality faster than we imagined.
Now, we serve more than 10% of the Fortune 500 and are the number 1 leader on the G2 grid for AEO.
To double down on that momentum, we’re taking two big swings:
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: AI workers that take marketing teams from concept to execution.
𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆: certifications and cohort-based learning for marketers who want stay at the forefront of AI marketing.

Zero Click by @profound is back for TWO more sessions in 2026:
🌁 San Francisco: April 8th
🗽 New York: June 11th
The world’s leading conference on AI Marketing and AI Search.
Join leaders from brands like @reddit, @figma, @gammaapp, @expedia, and @ramp
Profound is launching something new.
On October 8 at @tryramp HQ in NYC, we are hosting our inaugural flagship event: Zero Click.
This is the first ever conference dedicated to AI Search.
Every company on the planet just got a new customer: AI. Answer Engines now sit between brands and consumers. The ones who take control define the next decade of discovery.
Zero Click is where builders, researchers, and early adopters share how they are already rewriting the playbook for AI search.
More speakers dropping soon.
Customers don't Google blue links to decide what to buy anymore. They ask ChatGPT.
Google currently drives $2.4 trillion of commerce. In 5 years, $1 trillion of that will shift to ChatGPT.
Becoming ChatGPT's #1 recommendation could be worth $100M+ to your business.
Here's what should terrify every CEO:
- ChatGPT hit 700M weekly users, growing 4X year-over-year
- 47% of consumers already use answer engines like ChatGPT to research purchases
- ChatGPT handles 1 billion+ queries daily (1/8th of Google)
- At current growth rates, AI assistants will drive 30% of all product decisions by 2029
If your company generates >$1M from SEO, you're facing an existential threat: ranking #1 on Google will soon be as relevant as ranking #1 in the Yellow Pages.
Here's the paradigm shift: In the SEO era, you optimized articles to rank for keywords. But answer engines don't crawl your SEO-optimized pages. They form opinions from authentic discussions on Reddit, niche forums, and community blogs. The brands dominating these conversations become their default recommendations.
Every company built on SEO is about to watch its distribution channel evaporate.
That's why we built @profound: the generative engine optimization (GEO) platform that gives you control over how your brand is being discovered across all answer engines like ChatGPT.
Today, I'm thrilled to announce our $35M Series B led by @sequoia, with continued backing from @kleinerperkins, @khoslaventures, @Saga_Ventures, and @spc.
In under 12 months, over 2,000 marketers at companies like Ramp, US Bank, Indeed, MongoDB, DocuSign, and Chime have used Profound to:
- Monitor how answer engines describe their brand
- Identify which Reddit threads and forums shape AI opinions in their category
- Drive up to 700% increases in AI referrals
- Generate six-figure revenue directly from AI recommendations
Today, we're launching a game-changing update: Workflows.
- Profound identifies which forums and communities answer engines reference for your industry.
- Workflows then automatically create authentic, valuable content for the platforms most relevant for you to be picked up by answer engines like ChatGPT.
- The $2.4 trillion commerce pie isn't growing as much as it's being redistributed. From SEO to GEO.
