@crypto_cowes @AvidCommentator As if mortgage holders aren't increasing rents to help cover their increasing mortgage payments. Renters are feeling the pressure of higher rates. Measures to support house prices (immigration) are also bad for renters. The system is rigged in favour of homeowners

@sage_simian That's crazy. I just moved (on Sunday) into a share house in Melbourne 30mins to cbd by train, sharing a beautiful 4 bedroom house with 2 mature age guys for 260/wk inc. bills. Fully furnished, heated and cooled, nice carpet throughout. Sack the agent, have you tried flatmates?
