“Look again at that dot. That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives.”
- Carl Sagan
A few "boring" things I love:
- Going to bed early
- Waking up early
- Eating simple foods
- Saving money
- Moving my body
- Walking in silence
- Reading old books
- Avoiding drama
Boring is seriously underrated.
Today, on National Science Day, we celebrate the spirit of research, innovation and scientific curiosity that drives our nation forward.
This day commemorates the groundbreaking discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir CV Raman. This discovery placed Indian research firmly on the global map.
We reaffirm our resolve to empower our youth, strengthen research ecosystems and harness science and technology for national development and global good.
Do hard things. Because there’s nothing better than a hard-earned win. The pain. The struggle. The adaptation. And then, the reward. The feeling of knowing that you paid the cost of entry for the thing you wanted to achieve. Doing hard things is good for the soul.
What a privilege to eat until you’re full. To wake up fresh in the morning. To be sore from a workout. To miss people whom you love.
Each is a quiet reminder that we have more to be grateful for than we realise.
Underrated life advice: Do what most people avoid. Wake up early. Focus deeply. Move daily. Be present. Have difficult conversations. Do what you say you’re going to do. Recipe for a good life.
— Sahil Bloom
Multi tasking has always been a myth. Unless one tries it out- they don’t realise cognitive decline in doing many things at a time. Ever since I started focusing on doing just one thing - the quality has gone by insanely. Plus helps improve focus
A mentor once told me this: Most of your anxiety is self-inflicted. You're anxious because you're avoiding something you know you need to do. The real work. The decision. The hard conversation. Do the thing. Watch your anxiety disappear.
Statistically speaking, a “normal person” is physically unhealthy, emotionally anxious/depressed, socially lonely, and financially in debt. Fuck being normal.
It is very important to think about the right things for you. We often get involved in negative thoughts and wonder why things are not going well for us. I make it a point to always start my day with 3 positive sentences to myself.
The thing you DO NOT want in life, the thing you fear the most, the thing that grips you, paralyzes you from action...
...be prepared to receive that thing the most in your life.
Because that is what your head kept repeating to you. As if it was the thing you wanted.

Rivers do not drink their own water; trees do not eat their own fruit; the sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other. No matter how difficult it is… life is good when you are happy; but much better when others are happy because of you.
- Pope Francis
