An example I've seen IRL is HWY 64 in AR with 65mph speed limits and unprotected lefts across it from driveways.

@MandicReally @BasedBidoof Do what he said (metal sheet), and coat it in plastidip? Easily repairable, though probably not super super durable.

Could also be fairly wide range of colors / a logo with different colors using a stencil.

@VAT_Engineering @NathanBuilds It's also a design flaw with the AMS. It will "jiggle" the filament back and forth at the feeder 24/7, imparting mechanical stress until it breaks in the feeder PTFE tube.

I've had to tear mine apart so many times that I literally haven't secured the screws in my AMS for months.

Feels like there is opportunity here for the lightest possible gantry design. Would move heater and drive units off of the gantry.

Anyone know if someone has made a laser based 3D printer? And not SLS.

Use a laser beam focused on a metal heater block in the gantry, laser is directed by mirrors similar to a C02 laser cutter. Then use a bowden drive setup...

@AlexLibbywx Just a heads up, and not trying to be a dick (and I may be wrong on your setup). But bettas thrive in warm water ~80° and should have ~5g minimum.
