@ValueStockGeek Millennials and younger have major budgeting issues, evidenced by the # of people making 6+ figures and still living paycheque to paycheque. 1 mil would last 5-10 years for them. It’s a (perceived) lifestyle issue for them to only have 1M at retirement
@gruust @TinInvestor It’s higher grade than the rest of their deposit on average and is pretty typical of an HS epithermal. I’m sure they’re happy with it.
@data_ev@WallStCynic MegaPack will generate 3-6 billion in profit? You must mean in pesos. Last qtr, profits were $100M. We’re really expecting YoY growth of 650-1400%, when Q3 21 - 22 growth was 39%? ZIRP is over and recession is likely, so don’t count on margins increasing either.
@SteveWagsInvest Stocks go down faster in bear mkts than they go up in bull markets.
Avg. CAGR of 32.5% in bull markets
Avg. loss of 36% over 9 months in bear markets
So if a bear market lasts 1 yr, it’ll take almost 2 years of bull market to break even, if you stay invested that is.
So, the thing that is bringing down crypto is: The largest exchange, which launders money for for the Iranians, lost trust in the second largest exchange, whose founder said that crypto is basically a ponzi scheme on the Odd Lots podcast?

@billrad @kaine_on About 1/3 of cars on the road in Vancouver (BC) are Teslas, mostly model 3s. Hyperbole, but I do see way more than any other model of car. Certainly seen as a “cool” car, quality and stock valuation issues aside.
