JUDGMENT: 1 September 2025

Defendant: H.E. Simon Ekpa

Based on the court documents, it emerged after the deeply flawed trial of H.E. Simon Ekpa that the Nigerian regime, through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote to the Finnish Government requesting legal assistance in the targeting and unlawful detention of Biafran nationals in Finland, particularly H.E. Simon Ekpa and four other Biafrans.

The Prime Minister's legal team should seek disclosure of this correspondence to examine the allegations and representations made in it. According to the evidence we have at our disposal, this appears to form part of a broader pattern of the Nigerian regime and its Ministry of Foreign Affairs inciting the targeting of Biafrans in the diaspora.

The United States of Biafra (Restored) notes the formal acknowledgement received from the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union confirming that correspondence submitted to the attention of António Costa (@eucopresident), President of the Council of the European Union, has been received and transferred to the President's private office for consideration.

This administrative acknowledgement follows the formal transmission of the EU NOTIFICATION OF FUNCTIONAL FULFILLMENT, which formally notified European institutions of the achievement of "Functional Fulfilment" in relation to Biafran sovereignty.

The correspondence to European institutions outlines the position that the criteria described in European discussions regarding legal and democratic procedures have been functionally fulfilled and provides supporting instruments for that position.

Our mission remains focused on Functional Diplomacy and National Unification Through Excellence, emphasizing peaceful engagement, institutional development, international cooperation, and constructive dialogue with governments and international organizations.

We cite the 2016 European Commission Position (E-000494/2016) which defined the legal and democratic path to Biafran self-determination. The United States of Biafra (USB) have formally notified the Parliament that the criteria for "legal and democratic procedures" have reached Functional Fulfillment.

No further details regarding ongoing diplomatic communications will be disclosed at this time. We remain committed to respectful engagement with European institutions and all international partners through established diplomatic and administrative channels.

NIGERIA STATE ENGAGING IN SECRET WAR AGAINST USB - BULLET REMOVED FROM ATTACKED USB CITIZEN

The United States of Biafra USB Government condemns in strongest terms the secret war being waged by the Nigerian state against peaceful Christian USB citizens.

We confirm that a Biafran citizen loyal to the United States of Biafra was attacked by agents of the Nigerian state - Charles Soludo, Bianca Onoh Ojukwu, Olufemi Oluyede, Christopher Musa, Alex Oti, Hope Uzodinma, Peter Mbah, Tinubu, Nwifuru yesterday in the State of Odumegwu.

A bullet has been successfully removed from the victim by medical personnel. The victim is currently receiving treatment (attached).

This cowardly attack is part of Nigeria's ongoing state-sponsored terrorism against Biafrans who have chosen freedom through the USB declaration.

We have documented the evidence, including the recovered bullet and medical report, and it will be submitted to the United States Congress, UN Human Rights Council, and other international bodies.

The United States of Biafra will not be intimidated. We will defend our people through all lawful and diplomatic means, and we demand immediate investigation, accountability and withdrawal of Nigeria militias from the 40 States of Biafra territory.

Nigeria is currently, illegally, forcefully occupying a sovereign Nation and attacking USB citizens.
