@Dcpcooks Time value of money and optionality are important two factors. The further our your interest payments, the less they are in today's dollars (present value); short dollar/long inflation. You can make additional principal payments if you want to--not required.
@Jason The question I had about this trend is, what is the baseline? Looks like a decline in approval is pretty normal for at least part of the first year of a presidential term.
@FinanceLancelot 13F doesn't show short positions, so it's possible Scion is long PLTR if it has offsetting short PUT positions. Basing this purely on the 13F filing data; I don't know what if anything Burry has said publicly.
@SharpFootball Sometimes the official can't see the ball or if the possessor was down before breaking the plane. My opinion: don't give the offensive team the benefit of the doubt. Seems so obvious. You don't get to score a touchdown until proven otherwise. It's the other way around.
@DanielleMorrill Health habits are an idealogical battle zone, so I think you either need to lean into this by prescribing a "religion" or making the habits modular based on user taste.
@multifam_VTIGUY @GrahamStephan Banks (that are actually holding the risk of the loan, which is ~none of them) could benefit from a competitive market offering. A lot of people would take advantage, even at a steep "loan roll cost". Imagine a bank getting 3% of a loan's value just to roll it π€
@GrahamStephan I don't understand why this isn't possible. My assumption: because the businesses that originate home mortgages have no stake in the mortgage in 99% of cases due to securitization, they also have no flexibility to do anything with the mortgage outside of standard terms.
@sweatystartup If you borrowed money to pay for college, you are obligated to pay that money back. Prioritize paying back your debt before pursuing entrepreneurship. The only exception would be starting a day-one-cash-flow-positive service business.
@IndieHackers No, but I would consider it with the right circumstances: 1. we have product-market fit with some traction 2. we have a known use for the funding 3. we get more value than just money (e.g. mentoring, community) 4. dilution is not bad 5. co-founder and I are aligned.
@damonchen Can't tell. I would not have second guessed it if you didn't ask the question. The voice patterns do seem a bit too consistent/monotone/low/gravely, so that may hint at AI. Video looks good, though it is pretty low motion, didn't see any hand gestures.
