"...to mentally prepare me for tomorrow’s shift, I let my treadmill to take me to a far away place. NordicTrack and @iFit help me leave the stress of today and prepare for the Emergency Department tomorrow." - @KennethJPerry
Thank you❤️Tag a frontline worker in your life.
@RepGregMurphy@nyulangone We are all trying to give better care to ever more patients. There are no ads needed for that process. Great question to ask!
NC DOI fines @UHC ~$3.4M in a 4 yr investigation in part for violations of state law that protect @EmergencyDocs visits & Pts under the #prudentlayperson (PLP) standards, while of course UHC denies the allegations but agrees to the fines. NC State law requires that PLP Pts not be charged more than their in network cost sharing but United required the patients in writing to be responsible for amounts above the allowed amounts by the health plan. https://t.co/e8ginpWpWl
@EPotterMD We all know this is true. Patients come to the ER in order to get necessary tests done that are not preapproved. All the physicians watching know this is true. Good luck!
Now that #CES2025 is over, I can only say that it was a whirlwind. From early morning workouts (@thanks@burnbootcamp) to late night dinners it was all very busy.
Thanks to @Delta and the gate agents working the ATL to SAV flight on Friday.
Finally getting settled after a week at CES.
So many thoughts. Excitement at new things, frustrations with my normal environment. May post a thread of life as a physician at CES.
