Importantly, the article acknowledges the pioneering contribution of Dr. Ram Bux Singh, whose work in the late 1950s laid the foundation for India’s biogas movement, rural clean energy development, and global advancement of biogas technology. During the 1960s to 1980s, he was regarded among the notable global scientists in renewable energy and biogas, and his pioneering work even found mention in a United States Senate Report during that era.

Today, amid rising LPG prices and global energy insecurity, his vision of indigenous, village-based sustainable energy is becoming more relevant than ever.

Late Dr. Ram Bux Singh devoted his life to pioneering work in biogas & renewable energy, laying a strong scientific foundation for sustainable rural energy solutions. At a time when the world is facing serious energy crises, climate challenges & rising fuel dependency, his visionary work has become even more relevant and inspiring.
