आज मुझे श्री गोपाल गुप्ता, पूर्व वरिष्ठ अनुसंधान अधिकारी (बायोगैस), से मिलने का अवसर प्राप्त हुआ। उन्होंने उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के Planning, Research and Action Division (PRAD) के अंतर्गत बायोगैस अनुसंधान केंद्र, अजीतमल (औरैया) में 14 वर्षों से अधिक समय तक कार्य किया।

इस दौरान मैंने उन्हें डॉ. राम बख्श सिंह को हाल के वर्षों में प्राप्त विभिन्न राष्ट्रीय मान्यताओं के बारे में अवगत कराया।

श्री ��ोपाल गुप्ता जी ने प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की कि डॉ. राम बख्श सिंह के अग्रणी वैज्ञानिक योगदानों को आज राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर नई पहचान मिल रही है। बायोगैस ऊर्जा क्षेत्र से जुड़े एक वरिष्ठ विशेषज्ञ के रूप में उनके विचार और शुभकामनाएँ विशेष रूप से प्रेरणादायक रहीं।

Today, I had the privilege of meeting Shri Yogesh Arora, Senior Project Officer-I & In-charge (Retd.), @UPNEDA_Agency who worked closely with Late Dr. Ram Bux Singh during their association in the field of renewable energy and rural development.

I shared with him the recent recognitions being received by Dr. Ram Bux Singh from various institutions of the @mygovindia, including his inclusion in the @ncert Class IX Science textbook, approval of a Commemorative Postage Stamp (CPS) during his Birth Centenary Year (13 Aug. 2025 to 12 Aug. 2026), and other ongoing initiatives.

Shri Yogesh Arora ji was delighted to see that the pioneering scientific contributions of Dr. Ram Bux Singh are now receiving wider national recognition. As a colleague who witnessed his dedication and work firsthand, his appreciation and happiness made this interaction especially meaningful.

#WATCH | Ghaziabad, UP: On the Surya Murder Case, DCP Dhawal Jaiswal says, "An accident occurred on 28 May, in which Surya Chauhan was stabbed by an individual named Asad, who died during treatment. Based on a complaint filed by his family, a police station has registered a case against five people. A case was registered in Khoda under relevant sections, and swift action was taken, resulting in the arrest of the three main accused. Asad, the main accused in this incident, was absconding, and a reward of Rs 50 thousand had been announced by the police team. Today, the police team received information that Asad was going to meet some of his friends in the Khoda police station area and was planning to escape after taking some money from them. Based on this information, the entire team combed the entire area and set up checkpoints. In this sequence, Asad and one of his friends are seen arriving here on a bike. The police team attempts to stop them and warn them, but instead of stopping, they open fire on the police team. In the retaliatory fire, the police fire in self-defence, in which Asad is shot. Asad is immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. During this exchange of fire, one of our constables was also injured and has been taken to the hospital... Asad's bike has been recovered, and the pistol he used to fire has also been recovered. The police are conducting a thorough investigation of the entire incident and taking further legal action."

Importantly, the article acknowledges the pioneering contribution of Dr. Ram Bux Singh, whose work in the late 1950s laid the foundation for India’s biogas movement, rural clean energy development, and global advancement of biogas technology. During the 1960s to 1980s, he was regarded among the notable global scientists in renewable energy and biogas, and his pioneering work even found mention in a United States Senate Report during that era.

Today, amid rising LPG prices and global energy insecurity, his vision of indigenous, village-based sustainable energy is becoming more relevant than ever.
