@knightama Most notably to me, the original drawing is moving with intent, existing in its own space. The AI animation is breaking the fourth wall and performing for the camera. The facial expressions are detracting from the animation, imo.
@AshleighMerchan A unanimous verdict is required by the law so that one juror CAN stand against the rest. If disagreeing with the others is grounds for removal, then what's the point?
@I_willwell@RetroNewsNow With great power comes great responsibility. ... Basically, once you know the difference between right and wrong, you become accountable for the harms you can foresee.
@Math_files If there's a bomber on the plane, that greatly increases the odds of there being a another bomb (a backup bomb or a second bomber), as it most likely reveals a pre-existing plot to harm the plane. Yes?
@LibertyCappy I used to work 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. at a turnpike McDonald's. Easiest shift: quiet, routine and manageable amount of work, sense of camaraderie. We used to get differential back then. It would suck these days, like working in the Backrooms.
@Vesmic87@MagneticNorse A friend's house was the only one on the block NOT in the HOA. They tried to force her in anyway. She consulted an attorney and fended them off. My experience tells me it's not as simple as you portray here.
@Shawn30718197@0xEthanS@WallStreetApes What I saw was a post about a farmer losing his license due to new regulation. Ethan says it was probably right. I don't think "probably" is good enough for the destruction of someone else's livelihood.
@wtalexy@CapturingChrist@RosaryQuotes123 There is no backlight. The camera is indoors, zooming into a scene with sunlight in the background. The camera is light-sampling indoors and compensating for the lighting conditions, so things that are outside get blown out (no image data, just white).
@CapturingChrist@RosaryQuotes123 Because it's only happening in the camera. Look how the background of the image is blown out. Someone walking into the frame is reflecting natural sunlight. But because the camera is in shadow, the figure is overexposed. It's just photography.
@SundaeDivine@anyonewantchips The most commonly cited database of mass shootings is the Mother Jones database. They updated their criteria in 2012, dropping the threshold to qualify as a "mass" shooting from 4 victims to 3. Not sure the source of the data cited here, however.
@pairot676@ClashRoyale So they sold a digital currency at a rate of 6.25/1, then confiscated it at a rate of 20/1 in their favor? Is that correct? Is that legal?
@NbaWoody Accurate take. I'm a Cavs fan, and when they brought Mitchell back in early in the 4th, I knew they were in trouble. They didn't get key players enough rest down the stretch.
@13abc Glad you're covering this. It's a small-money matter, but I've seen this kind of behavior by corporate landlords first-hand -- running up charges based on dubious claims and outsourcing routine maintenance costs to tenants. Needs sunlight to disinfect.
