A new pay spine for nursing would mean, like doctors and dentists, nursing pay would be negotiated separately, getting our profession the recognition it is owed.

This is crucial for safe staffing.

@theRCN Read the room! This is a terrible idea. What about scrub nurses and ODP’s for example? How will they feel working together knowing one is paid more for doing the same job? I would love the gov. to see the stress of a busy radiotherapy department and tell us we deserve less pay!!
