The Kuki Students’ Organisation Sadar Hills (KSO-SH) vehemently condemns the desperate attempt by the United Naga Council and Senapati District Students’ Association to whitewash the brutal killing of three innocent pastors through misleading press statements and manufactured justifications.
The absurd narrative of keeping Kuki-Zo civilians as hostages to somehow rationalize or dilute the gravity of the crime is not only irrational but morally bankrupt. Innocent civilians cannot be used as bargaining chips to shield perpetrators or manipulate public perception.
The cold-blooded murder of church leaders and the continued illegal detention of civilians have shaken the conscience of the people.Any organization attempting to normalize or defend such acts stands exposed before the public.
KSO-SH demands the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and calls upon the authorities to act decisively against every individual and group involved in these inhumane acts.

#WATCH | Churachandpur, Manipur | Young Pillars College Principal and MD, Samuel Haokip, says, "Among the 14 that were abducted, there's a boy named Hengunsei Khongsai, a student of Young Pillars College. He had just completed his class 11 final exams. Now, Hengunsei is still a minor. He's only 16 years of age. He also has a disability and he's essentially an orphan. His mother left him when he was a child and his father passed away this January. Now, his friends have started their class 12 a week ago. He could not come. He's still in Taphou village. He was in Taphou village to earn his fare money, just to come from his village to Lamka... I earnestly appeal to the government at the state and the centre, to all the security agencies and to all right-thinking community leaders across the region. Please put an end to this madness... Let us release all the hostages on all sides, including our boy, Hengunsei Khongsai... On the 14th of May, as I've been given to understand by his family members, Hengunsei Khongsai, along with his friends and village members were earning money as a daily wage labourer. On their way home to their village, they were stopped, in front of Mount Everest College, Senapati, where they were stopped by Senapati District Student Association (SDSA) members. There were also police members present there, security personnel. Instead of protecting Hengunsei Khongsai and his friends and his villagers, the security people have handed over these civilians into the hands of the SDSA... All involved parties, including the SDSA student leaders as well as the police personnel involved in that incident must be investigated and they must be held accountable for whatever happens to Hengunsei Khongsai and the abducted 14 members."
#ManipurViolence:
How low must one fall to ambush unarmed church leaders who were simply traveling? Attacking church leaders is not an act of honor or courage at all. Do not call yourselves Christians while acting against the very principles of Christianity!

Church Pastors ambushed this morning, 3 confirmed dead.
Such heinous crime is totally uncalled for.
Spare the innocents, especially those without arms.

Our Meitei people's culture with regards to the conventional style of cremating the lifeless body of any deceased person has changed since 3rd May 2023.
Earlier, the Meitei way of cremation was very simple, where the body is wrapped in a plain shawl and then burned in the funeral pyre without any attention from the media.
Things have changed overnight, with a blind imitation of the Kuki Christian way of funeral services. Granted that the
Christian way deserves the utmost respect as it has moral and ethical values bidding goodbye to the departed souls with black dress and the dead body fitted in a coffin. But should we blindly imitate them?
This way of formal and respected burial system ignited the spark of inter-religious jealousies within every Meitei hearts, thus the conventional system of cremation changed; with flowers, coffins & parades to attract the media for mere publicity but having meagre substance and empathy for the deceased.
None can dictate on someone's culture and tradition however as a true Sanamahism, this way of life is infidel in nature and a pure example of blasphemy against the very religion and tradition of our doctrines and principles as prescribed by Ibudhou Pakhangba.

@87bn_crpf went to great lengths in a desperate attempt to stage the #JiribamMassacre as an attack. However,a crucial detail of the Crime scene revealed the true nature of the event, the slain VVs were found huddled together executed in a fake Encounter sanctioned by a Meitei DIG.
📍MANIPUR:JIRIBAM MASSACRE CRPF KILLED 11 KUKI YOUTHS
It is profoundly unjust that the KukiZo tribal minority communities continue to suffer violence and persecution while the government and its agencies fail to protect them. The recent tragic loss of 11 Kukizo youth, killed after being coerced by the CRPF into a meeting and then ambushed, underscores a serious abuse of power and a breach of trust. These young men, who stood as defenders of their villages, believed they were engaging with the security forces in good faith, only to be targeted by those who were sworn to protect them. Allegedly, this act was carried out under the influence of Meitei CRPF DIG & OC, raising grave questions about the motives and intentions behind the attack.
This situation reveals a disturbing double standard when heavily armed Meitei militants, often equipped with sophisticated weaponry, launch attacks on tribal communities, security forces reportedly remain passive. Yet, when it comes to targeting village defenders, those same forces act decisively and lethally.
It is the duty of a just government to protect all its citizens, regardless of ethnicity or political influence, and to intervene against violence directed toward any community. The selective enforcement of law and order undermines this duty and fosters a climate of fear and injustice. Such inaction against the Meitei militant attacks and the simultaneous willingness to use force against village defenders are unconscionable violations of human rights and betrayals of public trust.
True justice demands that the government recognize and protect the lives and rights of the tribal minority community rather than allowing biases to influence the actions of security forces. Without accountability and a commitment to impartiality, the state fails its citizens, leaving the minority kukizo communities vulnerable to violence and exploitation. It is imperative that the government and its agencies hold themselves to a standard of integrity, ensuring justice, security, and dignity for all for once.
