Set your clocks and clear your calendar because it's almost Basecamp time!

@basecampblr is a one-of-a-kind tech fest bringing together frontier labs, global brands, homegrown startups, and local communities to celebrate the builders who make Bengaluru so special.

This week has 80+ events designed to knock an idea loose and help you find your people.

🚀 You can build and ship your most ambitious idea in working sessions with frontier labs

💡 You can learn from experts about AI in defence and law, physical AI, narrative building, and more

🎉 You can mingle with your peers over a meme quiz, board games, breakfast with strangers, or a round of karaoke

💪🏻 You can recharge with a game of cricket, pickleball, golf, or a workout session

That’s why we call this the biggest anti-conference India has ever seen!

Whether you’re a successful founder or building for the first time, an operator with fifteen years behind you or three months into your first job, an engineer or a designer or a writer, there's a room for you! Or probably 10.

This is a festival of global ambition and possibility, and the whole city is the arena.

Ambition grows in company. Come find yours at Basecamp. https://t.co/PfiWAURIde

From August 6 to 12, @basecampblr takes over Bengaluru: a community-powered tech week, 60+ events, and the city's builders, founders and operators all in one place.

Most conversations about technology today begin with frontier models, tokens, compute, energy and model performance.

The builders around us begin somewhere else. They begin with curiosity. With an obsession they cannot explain. With the belief that something they make can change how people live, create, play, listen and connect.

Basecamp team and friends @ElevCap gave me a mandate of a cultural centrepiece.

For one day, all three floors of Sanctuary Parc become a museum celebrating Humans × Technology.

We call it Techno Romanticism. At @spacekayak and @sanctuaryparc we kept returning to the Romantic movement. Its artists pushed against a world governed only by reason and machinery, and put imagination, emotion, nature and human experience back at the centre.

We have over 13+ plays across art, music, food, gaming, finance and robotics. 200+ people registered before we announced it publicly. Now the doors are open to everyone.

[Praneet Dutta @praneetdutta]

I quit @GoogleDeepMind to build a marketing team that never stops working.

Today, we're launching @HelloPomo.

Your marketing, from insight to execution, unified.

Pomo watches everything happening across your market, tells you exactly what to do next (the budget shift to make, the trend to jump on, the buyer to answer), then prepares the assets for your approval.

@JoeC7007 and I have raised a $4.5M Seed led by @KindredVentures (@stevejang ), with backing from @SevenStars_VC (@stevenl ), @svangel (@AndreaShuyuWang ), @databricks, Timeless (@gauravahuja, @eshan_shetty), @645Ventures, @scottbelsky, @mghissassi & @mascarom.

Reply with your website. We'll run Pomo for 10 companies and show you the growth opportunities it finds and the work it creates.

[Praneet Dutta @praneetdutta]

Something's cooking, stay tuned.

In the 1970s, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates helped bring personal computing to the world.

For individuals & enterprises.

But before the computer became personal, it had to be imagined.

At Xerox PARC, researchers were building the future before the world knew what to do with it.

And even before that, in 1968, Douglas Engelbart at the 'Mother of all demos' asked:

“If, in your office, you as an intellectual worker were supplied with a computer display backed up by a computer that was alive for you all day and was instantly responsive to every action you had, how much value could you derive from that?”

That was the question then. Today, we have research-grade intelligence in our hands.

We have compute. We have tools that can write, design, reason, code, edit, and build with us. We have the world as our canvas.

So the question is simple:

What will you make?

As builders, we have always loved this part. The feeling that something new is trying to come alive.

This Saturday, we are hosting builders, founders, operators, and creatives working on their own projects at Sanctuary Parc.

Come make something for yourself.
Come make something for the world.
Come make something with us at Parc.

When @ycombinator announced Startup School was coming to India, I knew we had to do something unforgettable.

We're throwing Bangalore's first Boilerroom for builders.

Featuring international DJ and Boiler Room artist, my friend @kandykuri live, loud, and made for people who ship things.

This is the official Vibecon afterparty in partnership with our friends at @emergentlabs

And the unofficial YC Startup School pre-mixer.

See you there, builders.

What started as a weekend jamming session(Make Something) is slowly becoming a movement. We held a private showcase for builders and future founders, where each shared the one single curious question they are chasing in their (-1 to 0) journey.

Incredible to see the support from everyone!
@sajithpai thank you for the best -1 to 0 conversation & exchange.
@udayan_w for nudging the founders to think in the right direction. And everyone who showed up as cheerleaders for the founders: @Eepsita, @MotwaniSuhas, @retrovrv, @SumedhaUppal, @scared_ape

Also, so proud of our builders and founders, they've come a long way.

@sanctuaryparc is home for everyone building what's next. Join us every weekend for dialogue and action towards the future!
