@drkeithsiau Thank you for posting, creating awareness and educating. It took 12 mos for my son to get a EoE diagnosis - there was lots of confusion about endoscopy findings.
@Samir_Grover Your notes about how to doctor captured all the reasons why I was so relieved to find you. Transitioning my son from Sick Kids without any help was daunting. You were the only one that really seemed to understand all the challenges associated with EGID. Thank you and best wishes
@JoshMatlow So true. Why doesn’t the city invest in more speed cameras like the one on Parkside Dr.? In 10 months, this one camera brought in an estimated $2.3 million. They even had to turn the camera off at times to keep up with issuing tickets. Lots of streets this would be a good idea.

@ianhanomansing Such an important conversation. Maybe it needs to depend on diagnosis. If mine was one that I knew the day would come I wouldn’t know my kids due to Alzheimer’s or I’d be a real burden that would break my heart. I’d like to have options.
@drbobbell Yes for investment. You only show wait 2 data - time to surgery - AFTER consult. Wait 1 - referral to consult - is the complete picture. Also this is one of the highest volume procedures performed in public hospitals that doesn’t need to be. Finding HHR efficiencies is key.
@drbobbell IHFs receive no money from government unlike hospitals for capital equipment, facilty upgrades - how do you think they should pay for that? Patients - like my 78 yr old mom - also have a right to know there are lens options much more advanced than what OHIP is prepared to cover.
When it comes to your health, the status quo isn't working. That's why we're expanding community surgical and diagnostic centres to get you the care you need sooner. All you need is your health card. Learn more about how we’re cutting wait times: https://t.co/jsKFxUZdCI
The Command Centre has been a crucial step in bettering our overall Hospital performance. After our first year of implementing the Command Centre, it was noted that we saved 35 beds, 2.5 times quicker than anticipated.
@TorontoStar Reinforces why I will never get rid of my land line - and will continue to split my phone and internet provider to have a back up when these things happen. Discounts to put everything under either Bell or Rogers aren’t worth it.
