@julienlevallois what other depts in the enterprise have recently told the customer

[Neal Lathia @neal_lathia]

we built a memory layer for our agents, and the agent knowing what it has done before is the least important part of the system

Databricks CEO Ali Ghodsi says if frontier models stopped advancing, it wouldn't matter for most orgs because enterprise AI is bottlenecked on context, not intelligence:

"There's no agentic work that's automated the whole enterprise. That has just not happened. Why is that? The real reason is the models are smart enough, but they just don't have the context that exists inside of any organization."

"They have not been in every meeting. They don't know what's in everybody's heads. They don't know all the processes. There's always a couple of employees who know everything in every organization. You go tap on their shoulder, and everybody's like, 'Oh my God, what would happen if he or she quits?'"

"If you just fused that and gave that context into the AI models, just the frontier today, I think there's so much productivity gains you could get for any organization on the planet."

"For that, we actually don't need smarter models... If the frontier doesn't advance, it doesn't actually matter for the vast majority of organizations on the planet. They're just so far behind in the adoption curve of actually automating things and getting value out of this stuff."

@ItsJarrodTran there's various ways of handling them under the hood; rules (e.g. recency), summarisation, or even search & retrieval

@vibeteknologist what the agent has done before with that customer << what other conversations happened in the enterprise wrt that customer

[Klaas @forgebitz]

i have no time to maintain all my vibe coded tools

we need a business model where someone else maintains the code and i just pay a monthly fee

@JFPuget cool thanks, good chat

@JFPuget flat

[Neal Lathia @neal_lathia]

@JFPuget Our agent resolves a case, there’s a charge. Our agent hands off a case, no charge. Same charge regardless of how many tokens.

It aligns incentives across buyers and sellers. Buyers used to end up paying twice if their AI didnt actually help them reach their goals

WHOA: Major U.S. banks are finding unauthorized AI agents inside customer accounts, per Axios.

Some are taking actions that appear independent of user instructions.

Executives say they're struggling to tell humans from agents, and authorized agents from rogue ones.

Several banks are already preparing "day after" scenarios.

Wild times.

Foursquare 🫡, forever unrivalled

[Dennis Crowley 🇺🇸 (mostly on Threads, @dens) @dens]

Foursquare was acquired last month. The outcome was disappointing. It's taken me a while to write this, but I think I'm finally done grieving it. Here are some thoughts on our final years, an effort to honor the team who helped build & maintain FSQ's legacy, and my attempt to finally get some closure. https://t.co/HgcgI9DWvy
