I graduated from MIT in 2023. It was the year (more like era) when it was especially hard to get a role in big tech.

A lot of my friends and classmates basically took two alternative routes
> get a masters/higher education and wait it out
> build or join a startup

it's been a few years now, and those life choices are starting to realize. For me personally, I reneged a quant trading job and moved to SF instead (for my own reasons).

But it's been really beautiful to see the companies/achievements everyone has built and accomplished in the past few years in sf, nyc, etc.
