🚨 “30 JUIN: UNE NATION CÉLÈBRE, MINEMBWE PLAIDE SA SURVIE” - LE CAS DE MINEMBWE

🇨🇩 Alors que la RDC commémore sa “Fête de l’Indépendance”, Minembwe descend dans la rue.
Aujourd’hui, les civils Banyamulenge/Tutsi ont manifesté pour dénoncer ce qu’ils qualifient de génocide lent et en cours d’exécution.
Leur cri s’appuie sur un Mémorandum adressé au Secrétaire général des Nations Unies, @antonioguterres, par le représentant de la Société Civile de Minembwe, décrivant « une guerre à caractère génocidaire et ethnique » imposée depuis 2017.

Alors que la nation célèbre, Minembwe endure :
Bombardements par avions Sukhoï, drones opérés par les FARDC, siège total, écoles et églises détruites, Hôpital Général de Référence réduit en ruines, familles réfugiées dans la brousse depuis cinq mois.
Le Mémorandum évoque clairement une volonté d’« éradiquer la communauté Banyamulenge du sol congolais ».

Le document a également été transmis aux principaux dirigeants régionaux et internationaux :

As the Joint Oversight Committee welcomes new commitments to peace and expresses concern over drone strikes on civilians and the worsening humanitarian crisis in eastern DRC, the reality on the ground tells a different story.

While agreements are being signed to give the Banyamulenge and other civilians in Minembwe a chance to live in peace and dignity, violence continues unabated.

According to local sources, FARDC, together with Burundian forces, FDLR, and Wazalendo militias, continue attacks on Banyamulenge villages. Hospitals and civilian infrastructure have reportedly been damaged, and lifesaving medications stored in medical facilities destroyed—leaving mothers, newborn babies, the elderly, and the wounded without the care they desperately need.

Peace is not achieved through signatures alone. It is achieved when bombs stop falling, hospitals are protected, humanitarian aid reaches those in need, and civilians can live without fear.

The people of Minembwe are pleading for urgent humanitarian assistance and meaningful protection. The international community must ensure that the commitments made at the negotiating table are reflected in the lives of those trapped by the violence. Lives cannot wait.

🚨 URGENT HUMANITARIAN APPEAL FOR MINEMBWE 🚨

Today, the reality of Banyamulenge families returning to their villages of Karingi, Bidegu, Ilundu, Karongi, and Gakenke Kwa Muhindanyi, recently occupied by the coalition of the D.R.Congo, Burundian armies, Wazalendo militias, and the FDLR, are finding their communities devastated.

Homes, Churches have been destroyed, crops ravaged, and livestock decimated.

With health centers destroyed and medical supplies exhausted, thousands of civilians are left without shelter, food, or access to lifesaving care.

If urgent assistance is not provided, there is a serious risk of famine, starvation, and outbreaks of disease among the affected population.

It is time for humanitarian organizations to uphold the principles of humanity and impartiality and demonstrate that aid does not discriminate and that Banyamulenge lives matter equally.

MINEMBWE A BESOIN D’UNE PROTECTION URGENTE.

Pendant que le monde reste silencieux, des civils à Minembwe, au Sud-Kivu, sont bombardés par des drones, de l’artillerie et des avions Sukhoi.

Les villages de Gakenke, Bidegu, Kalingi, Ilundu, Mikenke et d’autres localités environnantes sont sous attaque. Des familles fuient. Des femmes, des enfants, des étudiants et des personnes âgées vivent une fois de plus dans la peur, le déplacement et la faim.

Le 12 juin, un Sukhoi-25 des FARDC a bombardé Minembwe pendant que des élèves passaient l’examen national TENASOSP. Des écoles et des maisons ont été endommagées, et des élèves ont été forcés de fuir pour sauver leur vie.

Ce n’est pas seulement une attaque contre Minembwe. C’est une attaque contre des civils innocents, contre l’éducation des enfants et contre le droit fondamental de vivre en sécurité.

Je condamne fermement les attaques menées par les FARDC et les forces burundaises contre les civils Banyamulenge. J’appelle à un cessez-le-feu immédiat, à l’accès humanitaire, à des enquêtes indépendantes et à la justice pour les responsables.

Le peuple de Minembwe mérite la protection, pas les bombardements. Le monde doit agir maintenant.

🚨 BREAKING – MINEMBWE UNDER AERIAL ATTACK

June 14th, 2026

Since 6:00 a.m. today, villages in the Minembwe area of South Kivu, including Gakenke, Bidegu, Kalingi, and Ilundu ya Ruhinamavi—have come under aerial bombardment by drones and Sukhoi aircraft.

Civilian-populated areas have been targeted, forcing residents to flee. The number of casualties and the full extent of the destruction remain unknown.

This is a heartbreaking and deeply alarming development.
Innocent civilians, including women and children are once again caught in the horrors of war, fleeing for their lives as their communities come under attack.
Every moment of silence risks more suffering and loss.

The people of Minembwe deserve protection, not bombardment. The world must not look away.

URGENT: Reports from Minembwe indicate that a FARDC Sukhoi-25 bombarded the center of Minembwe on June 12, 2026, while thousands of students were sitting for their national exam.

Schools, students, and civilians must never be targets.

🚨 URGENT ALERT: Attack on Students and Civilians in Minembwe

According to local civil society organizations in Minembwe, a Sukhoi-25 fighter aircraft operated by the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) bombarded the center of Minembwe on June 12, 2026, while thousands of students were peacefully sitting for the TENASOSP national examination. Amid the panic, eighth-grade student Ndakize Ntungane reportedly suffered a fractured arm after being trampled by fleeing classmates.

The same sources report damage to homes and school buildings and describe the attack as part of a continuing pattern of drone attacks and violence targeting the Banyamulenge population in Minembwe, and surounding villages.

Under international humanitarian law, civilians and educational facilities are entitled to special protection. UN Security Council Resolution 2601 (2021) “strongly condemns attacks directed against civilians and civilian objects, including schools and educational facilities, as well as attacks and threats of attacks against students and teachers.”

We urge the international community to unequivocally condemn these attacks and to increase pressure on the governments of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi to immediately cease attacks on innocent civilians, respect their obligations under international law, and support independent investigations to ensure accountability and the protection of vulnerable communities.

Après l’échec de tentatives de prendre Minembwe par des attaques généralisées des drones, des troupes au sol et de pilonnage d’artilleries pendant trois jours, Messieurs Tshisekedi et Ndayishimiye et leurs armées viennent d’envoyer un avion de chasse et de combat du type Soukhoï.

Cet avion vient de larguer deux grosses bombes en pleine cité de Minembwe ce matin du vendredi 12 juin 2026 à 10h30, à Madegu le quartier le plus peuplé, à côté d’une école où les enfants étaient en session d’examens d’Etat. Beaucoup de dégâts, des enfants tombés et des os cassés. Le nombre des victimes les morts et blessés, les maisons détruites, les moyens de subsistances comme les vaches, moutons et récoltes, on n’en parle plus, on ne compte plus.

Vous pouvez juger de la puissance ces bombes par la profondeur et la dimension des trous creusés et les autres dégâts sur des maisons d’habitation.

À vous qui avez décidé de continuer à garder silence, quelles qu’en soient les raisons, je vous dis que le salut viendra sans vous. Vous n’aurez ni part ni gloire. Et quand, trop tard, vous essayerez de parler, vos paroles vous condamneront.

Aux criminels et sanguinaires, acteurs principaux de cette tragédie, vous répondrez sans aucun doute de la barbarie, la cruauté doublées de bestialité que vous perpétrez à Minembwe et la souffrance et l’inhumanité que vous infligez aux Banyamulenge avec un tel acharnement qui dépasse l’entendement humain. Néanmoins, c’est ce que l’histoire retiendra sur vos noms et fort malheureusement même sur ceux de vos descendants. PUBLIC STATEMENT
Mahoro Peace Association (MPA) strongly condemns the killing of Banyamulenge civilians in Ilundu village, Minembwe, on the night of June 6–7, 2026.

While families were sleeping, shells and drones struck homes, a school, and civilians.
This was not a battlefield attack. Innocent people were targeted.
Two young people were killed:
Prince Runezerwa Mahiyabo (19)
Trésor Kigeri Mazuru

At least six others, including children were injured.
A primary school was also damaged.
This attack is not an isolated event. It is part of years of violence against the Banyamulenge people.

MPA believes these acts must be recognized as part of an ongoing genocide.

The attacks also raise serious concern about violations of the Washington Peace Agreement, which requires the protection of civilians and a ceasefire.

We call for urgent action:
Protect civilians in Minembwe
Help the wounded and allow humanitarian aid
Investigate these attacks and hold those responsible accountable

Soyons honnêtes : vous et moi savons très bien que derrière cette réforme constitutionnelle se cache la volonté du Président de s’éterniser au pouvoir, notamment en verrouillant l’article 220 de notre Constitution du 18 février 2006, tout en continuant à enrichir une minorité pendant que le peuple croupit dans la pauvreté, l’insécurité et l’abandon.

Un État digne de ce nom doit assurer la sécurité de sa population, garantir la justice, protéger son territoire et exercer son autorité sur toute l’étendue nationale. Or, aujourd’hui, une grande partie du pays souffre de l’absence réelle de l’autorité de l’État, tandis que les citoyens vivent dans la misère et l’incertitude.

Max Weber définissait l’État comme une organisation qui revendique le monopole de la violence légitime sur un territoire donné. Autrement dit, un État doit être capable de protéger son peuple et de contrôler son territoire. Lorsque l’insécurité domine, lorsque l’autorité de l’État disparaît dans certaines zones, et lorsque les dirigeants pensent d’abord à se maintenir au pouvoir, on ne peut pas prétendre que cette réforme est au service du peuple.

La Constitution ne doit jamais devenir un instrument permettant de prolonger le pouvoir d’un individu. Elle doit rester un outil de protection du peuple, de limitation du pouvoir et de défense de la République.

🚨 UMOJA NETWORK - HUMANITARIAN ALERT FROM MINEMBWE 🚨

THIS IS A DESPERATE CRY FOR HELP. Innocent families are trapped in terror as violence spirals out of control, and entire communities are being pushed to the brink of catastrophe. Every hour without action means more lives shattered, more children traumatized, and more families left with nothing. The world cannot afford to look away.

The UMOJA Network, representing 23 local NGOs, reports a worsening humanitarian crisis in Minembwe and surrounding areas of South Kivu.

Between May 15 and 28, villages including Kalingi, Bidegu, Ilundu, Karongi, and Gakenke faced repeated attacks involving drones and heavy fighting. Homes, farms, schools, and health facilities were destroyed, leaving civilians devastated.

Children, women, and families are among the victims. The destruction of the Kalingi Health Centre, blocked humanitarian access, damage to the Minembwe airstrip, and communication blackouts have left communities isolated.

MPA urgently calls on the international community and humanitarian organizations to protect civilians, restore aid access, and help stop the violence in eastern DRC.

As drone attacks continue to devastate civilians in Minembwe and Masisi, the cries for justice are growing louder across the world.
In #Canberra, in front of the Australian Parliament, members of the Banyamulenge and Tutsi communities joined a growing global movement demanding an end to the targeted violence, humanitarian blockade, and systematic attacks taking place in eastern DRC.

From Washington DC to London, Brussels, Ottawa, Nairobi, and now Australia, the diaspora is rising with one voice to denounce the atrocities committed against civilians in Minembwe, South Kivu, and Masisi by the Kinshasa government, Burundian forces, the FDLR, and allied militias.

While innocent families continue to live under drones, bombs, displacement, and fear, the international community remains largely silent.

Denouncing Discriminatory and Dangerous Remarks by Steve Mbikayi

Mahoro Peace Association expresses its strongest indignation regarding the statements made by Mr. Steve Mbikayi(@Cartesien243 ), Member of DRC Parliament, during his interview on the Kinshasa Television RDC YouTube channel, hosted by Mr. Marius Muhunga, titled: “Washington, Constitution, war: Steve Mbikayi says what many dare not say.”
Mr. Mbikayi questions the Congolese nationality of members of our association, systematically labels them as “Rwandans,” and claims it is difficult to distinguish a Munyamulenge from a Rwandan. These statements constitute dangerous stigmatization and collective discrimination aimed at delegitimizing the legitimate claims of a Congolese community by portraying it as foreign.
It is precisely against this policy of targeting and harassment that we organized our peaceful march in Washington, D.C. Mr. Mbikayi claims there is confusion between Rwandans and Banyamulenge. There is no confusion. What exists is a long-standing pattern of denial, discrimination, and dehumanization of the Banyamulenge people in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Even more alarming is his assertion that the Banyamulenge are “the most privileged.” We ask: what privilege is he referring to?
1. Is it the thousands of Banyamulenge who have been killed over decades simply because of who they are?
2. Is it the more than 450 Banyamulenge villages burned to the ground?
3 Is it the over 500,000 Banyamulenge livestock stolen, destroying entire livelihoods?
4. Is it the hospitals and schools that have been reduced to rubble?
5. Is it the civilians, men, women, and even soldiers, killed, burned, and subjected to unspeakable brutality including cannibalism?
6. Is it the Banyamulenge churches that have been desecrated and destroyed?
7. Is this what Mr. Mbikayi calls “privilege”?
We call it what it is: genocide.

Mr. Mbikayi’s claim that President Tshisekedi was the first to recognize the Banyamulenge as Congolese citizens is equally false and deeply troubling. The Banyamulenge are indigenous to the DRC, their ancestors were born, lived, and are buried there. Their citizenship is enshrined in the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Congo long before the current administration. Their identity is not a political concession, it is an inherent and constitutional right

We regret that the government in Kinshasa continues, through its representatives, to instrumentalize this discriminatory rhetoric in an attempt to discredit our actions.

#RDC: Décoration des médias de la haine

Patrick Muyaya, ministre de la Communication et porte-parole du gouvernement de la RDC, a récemment annoncé (lors du Conseil des ministres) que l’État congolais va décorer des journalistes ayant rendu « d’éminents services à la nation ». La cérémonie est prévue pour le 4 mai (Journée mondiale de la liberté de la presse).

On ne connaît pas encore la liste officielle des journalistes qui seront décorés. Cependant, les noms qui circulent déjà sur les réseaux sociaux, relayés par des propagandistes proches du pouvoir, pointent clairement vers des journalistes et animateurs qui se sont illustrés dans la propagation de discours de haine ethnique et de propagande pro-gouvernementale.

En d’autres termes, ce sont ces voix qui ont abandonné toute éthique professionnelle pour se mettre au service de la machine de communication de guerre. Parmi eux figurent ceux qui ont relayé, amplifié ou laissé propager des appels à la violence ethnique.

Cela n’étonne guère de la part de Patrick Muyaya lui-même, qui a popularisé le terme «poison rwandais». Cette expression sert à assimiler toute réclamation, dénonciation, plainte ou simple existence des Tutsi congolais et Banyamulenge à une influence rwandaise, constituant une déshumanisation systématique et une stigmatisation collective dangereuse.

D’ici le 4 mai, je vais mettre à nu ces pourfendeurs de haine, avec un post dédié pour chacun.

Ce premier post concerne Litsani Choukran.

Voici un exemple éloquent datant de janvier 2021, regardez ce tweet de Litsani Choukran du 7 janvier 2021: Il s’adresse ici à Moïse Nyarugabo (et par extension aux Tutsis/Banyamulenge).

C’est du discours de haine pur et simple :
• Stigmatisation physique et ethnique («Votre tête nous énerve», «Vous ressemblez à Kagame »).
• Appel explicite à la violence collective («Il faut juste qu’on vous attaque tous!»).
• Invitation à dresser des listes pour « s’occuper » des gens, rhétorique qui rappelle les pires précédents dans la région.

Ce n’est pas du journalisme. C’est de l’incitation à la haine ethnique.

Et c’est précisément ce genre de «service éminent à la nation» que Patrick Muyaya veut décorer le 4 mai. Ironie tragique pour la Journée mondiale de la liberté de la presse.

Litsani Choukran n’est que la partie émergée de l’iceberg. Je continuerai à documenter les autres noms qui circulent.

Des milliers d’âmes dignes, belles, déterminées, qui serpentent le long de Pennsylvania Avenue comme un fleuve de lumière et de courage. Pas un cri de haine, pas un geste de violence. Seulement la force tranquille de la vérité qui avance.

Le 20 avril 2026, Washington DC a vu l’immensité de notre unité.

Ce lundi, le silence des puissants a été brisé par le pas de milliers de Banyamulenge, de Tutsi et de tous ceux qui refusent de fermer les yeux sur le génocide en cours en RDC.

Cette marche n’était pas qu’une manifestation.

C’était une onde de choc.

Une frappe d’Armada silencieuse qui a fait trembler les murs de Kinshasa.

Les lobbies grassement payés, les machines à mensonges, les manipulateurs professionnels… personne ne s’attendait à ça.

Personne ne s’attendait à une telle beauté, une telle discipline, une telle puissance tranquille.

Nous n’avons pas besoin de hurler pour être entendus.

Notre nombre, notre dignité et notre amour pour la vie parlent plus fort que toutes les armes.

À nos frères et sœurs restés au pays, sous les bombes et les massacres:
Tenez bon.

Le monde commence à ouvrir les yeux.

Votre douleur n’est plus invisible.

Votre combat n’est plus solitaire.

Nous marchons pour vous.

Nous marcherons encore.

Jusqu’à ce que justice soit faite.

Jusqu’à ce que la paix revienne.

Jusqu’à ce que plus jamais un enfant banyamulenge ou tutsi ne soit tué simplement parce qu’il existe.

Nous sommes debout.

Nous sommes nombreux.

Et nous ne nous tairons plus.

🚨 HISTORY IN THE MAKING 🚨

While the world looks away, one voice rose with courage and clarity during the April 20, 2026 peaceful protest in Washington DC before the U.S. State Department. In this powerful address, @Jadondaruhuye1, a proud Congolese #Banyamulenge son, exposes the slow genocide unfolding in #Minembwe: systematic drone bombings on civilians, a deadly blockade starving women and children, and targeted ethnic killings by #FARDC forces, #Burundian troops, and allied militias.

He demands an immediate end to the attacks, the opening of humanitarian corridors, and international pressure on Kinshasa to protect its own citizens. This is not propaganda, it is the raw, documented truth of a community facing erasure.

When Pro-#Tshisekedi propagandists cannot challenge the message, they attack the messenger. They fabricate doubts about his nationality, digging up old work history in Rwanda, while ignoring that thousands of Congolese have worked across borders due to massive unemployment and instability at home. This changes nothing.

#Banyamulenge identity is not something outsiders can easily fake. Within this tight-knit minority community, family ties, lineages, and histories are well-known, including with those #Banyamulenge in #Kinshasa leadership positions. No one in the community denies Jado’s Banyamulenge roots. Minorities recognize their own; impostors get caught immediately.

Attacking the speaker only proves they have no answer to the suffering of civilians, the drone strikes, or the blockade.

The truth stands alone. Judge this speech by its content: the call to stop bombing Congolese children, lift the siege, and end the persecution. Silence is complicity.

Fundamental rights in the U.S. are basic civil liberties protected by the Constitution, primarily the Bill of Rights and the Fourteenth Amendment, protecting individuals against government infringement.

Equal Protection: The 14th Amendment prohibits states from denying any person equal protection under the law.

Those rights are not applicable just domestically, but even abroad. For these fundamental rights The US has used its leverage and when needed engaged in wars across the globe to save people. Today the DRC mineral deal has promoted TRANSACTIONALISM in lieu and place of HUMANISM.

It is time for the US to revisit their stance in the DRC conflict based on the values that make the backbone of the US as a Country.
