If you think about this, yield has always been a hard problem for XRP.

@Firelightfi opens a path that I think is much bigger than people realize: using FXRP as capital to protect DeFi.

Protocols and vaults need cover. That demand grows as more value moves onchain. FXRP stakers can sit behind that protection and earn from the fees generated by it.

If this scales, XRP yield starts being tied to the growth of DeFi itself, not only to activity inside XRP markets.

That could become one of the most important sources of sustainable XRP yield.

@FlareNetworks has generated a record $8.77M in total loans of @Ripple's $RLUSD stablecoin, secured by tokenized $FXRP on @Morpho.

This represents a 24.73% growth over 30 days.

On-chain lending data shows users have staked 13.13M FXRP to secure loans, a 23.98% increase in the monthly deposited collateral base.
