@the_jefferymead I would vote for any Republican over almost all Democrats, except for a Republican that has bent the knee. I am never voting for Lil' Marco.
@wolfejosh@OphirGottlieb Does she speak for the Palestinians living in occupied territories (https://t.co/wMSJjXL5hU)? There is something to be said about proportionality. That is where a lot of the objections come from, including my own.
@stevesi XPS is atrocious. Poor keyboard ergonomics, poor reliability (screen hinge has high tendency to fail). And a power key next to del, which when touched by mistake shuts down the machine. About as dumb as the hangup button right next to share on Zoom and Teams.
Picking up a package from UPS requires a stricter form of ID than voting. The same is true about buying a gun. Is there a reason to elevate the 2nd amendment over the 15th amendment?
@magicsilicon That was one of the more embarrassing moments in x86 history. As was FP SIMD, the high speed double pumped bus, out of order execution, cache hierarchy and several other key elements of x86 that were actually invented by AMD.
@stevesi@firstadopter It is insane to think that Intel was not looking at mobile usage and its own failure to capture any of it intensely. Having the data is not the same as looking at it, or comprehending it. Google used to be N of 1. It is now 1 of N. Shocking that Buffet seems to think that is OK.
@DrewCohenMoney@AppleSupport It used to be a given that a) the interface made sense b) the camera kicked everyone's ass. Now we have fugly grey on white design, and a camera that is very mid. If Jobs is looking he can't he happy, and he must be shaking his head at the Luce monstrosity that Ive birthed
@HedgieMarkets@paulg And down mid single digit percent in pretrading . We are seeing AI darlings trade down when they beat, like cyclicals at a cycle peak. Covid and biotech could be a useful base case how highly profitable stocks can get ahead of their skis and trade sideways/down for many years.
@bgurley@Jesse_Livermore It is amazing how much the tone about OAI and ANT has shifted on my timeline. From "they are making humanity better" to "they are a bunch of self serving hypocrites". @GaryMarcus has become consensus, not sure what to make of it.
