🚨 ENFORCED DISAPPEARANCE IS A CRIME 🚨

On December 16, 2025, Dr. Shahbaz Nazir Khoso, a final-year MBBS student and son of respected schoolteacher Nazir Ahmed Khoso, was forcibly taken by unidentified individuals in uniform from Shahdadkot. Since that day, his whereabouts remain unknown.

This is not just the disappearance of one student — it is a direct attack on the rule of law, the right to life, and the future of Pakistan’s medical professionals. Enforced disappearance is a grave violation of the Constitution of Pakistan, as well as international human rights conventions including ICCPR and UN human rights standards.

The prolonged silence of authorities has left Dr. Shahbaz’s family in unbearable pain and uncertainty. His parents wait every day for a sign of life. His colleagues, teachers, and community live in fear. No state can claim justice while its students vanish without due process.

The Human Rights Council of Pakistan demands:
▪️ Immediate and safe recovery of Dr. Shahbaz Khoso
▪️ Disclosure of his whereabouts before a court of law
▪️ An independent, transparent investigation
▪️ Accountability for those responsible for this illegal abduction
