@acoyne Is your argument kids aren't cognitively developed enough to make the decision? I think if we raise the voting age, we should also cap it. An elderly person with early dementia who watches junk news all day is as dangerous or more than a kid who's on social media too much.

Telling yourself you are a moral entity fighting evil can lead humans to do evil things themselves. Religion gives us many examples of this.

Imagine if Boris hasn't gone to Ukraine to stop a deal, or if the US hadn't launched the "war on terror"? How much money could have been used domestically & on military upgrades.

The US funds its military industries but not veterans & wants us all to follow suit. I want my gov to upgrade its military, but also take care of vets/citizens.
