Periodic comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner, 89 days before perihelion.
This a near Earth comet of the Jupiter family. Its nucleus has an estimated diameter of 2 km. 21P will come within 0.39 AU from Earth on September 10th. It is expected to reach magnitude +7.
During the @theAGU#AGU17 meeting (11-15 Dec), NASA PDS will hold PDS4 training sessions targeting R&A proposers and grantees. The sessions, lasting about 1.5 hours, will be held at the PDS booth several times every day.
