Prof. @EricTopol, internationally renowned cardiologist, geneticist, and digital medicine expert, visited #HelmholtzMunich for a roundtable on the future of #AI in healthcare.

✨ The discussion focused on the concept of the #VirtualHuman, showing how AI can connect imaging, molecular, and clinical data to build detailed models of the human body. At Helmholtz Munich, the Virtual Human is being developed as an integrative multiscale basis model to represent patient journeys holistically.

✨ #FoundationModels were also highlighted, showing how AI can spot patterns in complex data and generate insights for more personalized and predictive healthcare.

👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 The event, a prologue to the Bavarian Conference on AI in Medicine, brought together leading experts: Prof. Topol, Prof. Martin Hrabě de Angelis, Prof. Fabian Theis, Prof. Ewa Szczurek , and Prof. Julia Schnabel, moderated by Dr. Annalisa Marsico.

💡 Helmholtz Munich provides an ideal environment for this research, combining advanced technology, rich datasets, and a collaborative ecosystem for developing digital human models.
