Believe it or not, the #1 use case for humanoid robots in China right now is... *entertainment*

Malls rent humanoid robots to do dances, play music, etc. They aren't using them to do manual tasks.

People are fascinated by humanoids, but they are less practical than application-specific robots, like delivery robots in hotels, cleaning robots, etc.

This will probably change as the speed and accuracy of humanoid robots becomes similar to that of the application specific robots.
