“Runway’s bet is that a good enough video model, given actions, can become the World Model, and that on that same backbone you can render a movie, an ad, an entire desktop, a working warehouse, and maybe, eventually, a cell or a universe.”
Fascinating piece by @packyM & @agermanidis on the future of @runwayml

The first generation to hold a screen before they could read is now designing their way out of the interface.

With more and more AI character swap tools hitting the market and the AI influencer boom, generating creative original content that users can insert their AI characters into may become more in demand
The Character Swap LoRA is out! Feel free to try it and share what you make.
It’s far from perfect, it’s just a LoRA, but it can work surprisingly well in some cases, like the examples below. I hope to work on an improved version soon together with @akatz_ai.

And there's an AI-generated video (video, voice, but it's my real voice, just in English hahaha) here hahaha to explain the Workflow planner node and some other things about LoRa: https://t.co/e2UvfUkGg2
Day 2 of 30 testing a different AI tool for creative work every day.
This morning I’m trying @WisprFlow for the first time.
Pros:
- System-level dictation with very minimal setup
- Works in apps like @claudeai, @NotionHQ, Gmail, wherever else you’re working
- Accuracy is solid. It cleans up as you go. Filler words, self-corrections, punctuation
- You can assign your own hotkeys
- Speaking conversationally makes longer prompts feel natural and gives the model way more context
Cons:
- Struggles in noisier rooms. My laptop mic was inconsistent, AirPods worked better
- Privacy comes up a lot. Per Wispr, they only process what you actively dictate (no passwords)
- Free tier is limited. Pro is $15/mo or $144/yr
Honest take: 30 minutes isn’t enough for this one. I’d need a week of meetings and dictation before I could report back. Right now it’s hard to see what it solves for me that @meetgranola can’t.
Let me know your takes in the meantime?
Day 1 of 30 testing a different AI tool for creative work every day.
First up: @floraai
What worked well:
- really nice UI, plus keyboard shortcuts (!)
- 20 gens at once on a single node (i.e. burn credits)
- Fauna agent built my whole workflow really fast (but couldn’t save it as a Technique)
What didn’t:
- batch edit didn’t recognize my logo, or didn’t attach it to the right products (?)
- new Decks feature feels like an image compositor with a share link. Useful, but not as big as they made it sound
- the @airHQ identity it churned out didn’t land for me
Here’s a live link to the deck from my 30 mins this morning: https://t.co/T6IddQwC66
What should I try tomorrow?
If they are shooting at you, you must be doing something right.
When a VC-backed company that has raised $60M+ feels threatened by a bootstrapped company.
loving the game!
There are certain applications where a visual interface makes sense (maps, etc) but @davidmarcus predicts that soon “we're going to deal with intelligence and computers the same way we deal with other people, by talking and typing, and things will just get done.”
It's almost impossible to keep up with the advances in AI for creative work (seems like there’s a new breakthrough product or model every day!!)
So I pulled a list of the top 40 accounts who are actually hands-on experimenting w models and video/image generation and talking about how AI is reshaping how creatives work.
Let me know who you think I should add!!
