@JKoukourakis@sarcastic_dom This approach ist a big footgun, Copy over a Mesh and suddenly you have Double the memory, and suddenly someone painted 30 meshes and you didnt notice and your Scene is 250 MB. Vertex painting should be virtually only done offline or saved as asset
@gabriela_trueba the raytracing looks great but the performance was so poor on my PC with a 5070 and locking the non raytraced one under pro is very questionable
@outsource_@BlendiByl@hermesworldai You are proving his point exactly though how humans are needed in all areas, even from the beginning in choosing the right project for your team / skill level.
@TheGingerBill@valigo Because docs is a technically a graphics (communication) design job and takes a lot of effort to be done at highest level and a programmer is not learned for this
@JKoukourakis That's far from the truth. You'll need 3-5 years to master these engines to diminishing returns as their UX and many decisions are horrible or just highly complex and you need time to figure out their footguns
experiment with a memory system that keeps rewriting itself:
a hopfield network remembers an alphabet. as memories decay, it begins to hallucinate glyphs it was never taught - forgetting becomes a way of inventing.
