The issue is not whether he chose to claim.

The issue is whether he notified his insurer.

In the UK, motorists are normally expected to tell their insurer about accidents or incidents even where no claim is made. A car being “written off” is not a minor event. It is plainly relevant to risk.

If it was not reported to the police, that raises a second question. Was this a road traffic incident, criminal damage, assault, or something else?

Either way, journalists should be asking for the basic evidence: when, where, which vehicle, whether the insurer was notified, whether the police were informed, and whether any record exists.

Not claiming is one thing. Not disclosing a serious loss event is quite another.

@SullyTalkz Quite simple really. When we play high and he has to do a lot of recovery runs, 1v1 defending, he’s fantastic. When the game is in front of him or we sit deep, he lacks sufficient aggression which you get from someone like Harry. Horses for courses.
