Let’s be honest — The Wire has long crossed the line from journalism into activism, often spreading misleading narratives and undermining national interests. The Government of India has taken a justified step under the IT Act, 2000 by blocking The Wire, a portal known for its biased reporting, questionable foreign funding, and consistent anti-India stance. This is not censorship — this is national security.

Shameful is when you live in this country, eat from it, build your name here — and yet betray it at every opportunity. This kind of namak harami can’t and shouldn’t be tolerated. If you continuously work against your own country, then being banned is the least that can happen.
