आज जनपद सीतापुर के जिलाधिकारी @dm_sitapur डॉ. राजगणपति आर. जी से भेंट कर विश्वविख्यात बायोगैस वैज्ञानिक एवं सीतापुर की जन्मभूमि से जुड़े डॉ. राम बख्श सिंह जी के सम्मान से संबंधित विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई।

भेंट के दौरान “डॉ. राम बख्श सिंह मार्ग / चौराहा” नामकरण, स्मृति द्वार निर्माण, जन्मशताब्दी वर्ष (13 अगस्त 2025 – 12 अगस्त 2026) के दौरान जन-जागरूकता अभियान, तथा भारत सरकार द्वारा प्रस्तावित “डॉ. राम बख्श सिंह स्मारक डाक टिकट” के संबंध में विचार-विमर्श किया गया।

यह भी अवगत कराया गया कि डॉ. राम बख्श सिंह जी की वैज्ञानिक उपलब्धियाँ केवल सीतापुर ही नहीं बल्कि सम्पूर्ण उत्तर प्रदेश एवं भारत के लिए गौरव का विषय हैं।

This is a moment of immense pride and deep emotional significance for our family, #Sitapur #Lucknow (#UttarPradesh) and the nation as a whole.

Late Dr. Ram Bux Singh devoted his life to pioneering work in biogas & renewable energy, laying a strong scientific foundation for sustainable rural energy solutions. At a time when the world is facing serious energy crises, climate challenges & rising fuel dependency, his visionary work has become even more relevant and inspiring.

This national achievement also reflects the collective efforts made at various levels of leadership and the education system. 1. Today, on the 100th Death Anniversary of my father, Dr. Ram Bux Singh (1925–2016), we bow in reverence to his extraordinary legacy. A global pioneer of Biogas Technology, his vision transformed #RenewableEnergy #RuralDevelopment and #Sustainability.

2. In Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh), at Dr. Ram Bux Singh Kanya Inter College (his birthplace), a tribute programme will be organized today. His life and work remained deeply connected with Lucknow (U.P.), where he carried out pioneering innovations and where he passed away on 18 Sept 2016.

3. As his son, I humbly appeal once again to the Hon’ble #PrimeMinister to confer upon him the #BharatRatna — the honour he truly deserves.

4. My father’s pioneering work in biogas technology aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals — Goal 7 (Affordable & Clean Energy) and Goal 13 (Climate Action). By creating eco-friendly, accessible biogas solutions, he advanced renewable energy, cut #Greenhouse gas emissions and empowered rural livelihoods — shaping a cleaner, #SustainableFuture for #India & the #World.

1. I am writing with deep pain and disappointment regarding the prolonged delays and inaction by the @MinOfCultureGoI @mygovindia , in connection with the Centenary Commemoration of my late father, Dr. Ram Bux Singh, the world-renowned pioneer of biogas technology.

2. Despite my continuous follow-up for more than two years with the Ministry of Culture, including with the offices of the Hon’ble Minister (through PS and APS) and officials such as Shri Samar Nanda (Joint Secretary, Centenaries & Celebrations) and Shri Rajeev Kumar (Director, Centenaries & Celebrations), the proposals remain stalled due to bureaucratic hurdles.

3. I therefore earnestly request your direct intervention to: Instruct the Ministry of Culture to immediately approve and organize a national-level centenary commemoration for Dr. Ram Bux Singh.
