With today’s close of Hidden Road (now Ripple Prime), Ripple has announced 5 major acquisitions in ~2 years (GTreasury last week, Rail in August, Standard Custody in 2024, Metaco in 2023). As we continue to build solutions towards enabling an Internet of Value – I’m reminding you all that XRP sits at the center of everything Ripple does. Lock in.
Today, Ripple is breaking into the $120T corporate treasury payments market with the $1B acquisition of GTreasury.
The past few years have reminded this industry why payments, first and foremost, is THE primary use case for crypto and blockchain. Payments are where Ripple first started for exactly these reasons – the infrastructure is complex, siloed and inefficient, but as we know, perfectly positioned to benefit from decentralized financial technologies.
Astounding amounts of cash are trapped in outdated payments systems, creating friction, unnecessary costs, and barriers to entering new markets. GTreasury has been serving some of the most well known brands for decades – and now together with Ripple, we’ll be able to help CFOs manage all their assets, include stablecoins, tokenized deposits, etc at scale around the world, as well as put their idle capital to work with repo markets via Hidden Road.
The opportunity is here, and we’re diving right in. It’s happening!

✅ GENIUS ACT SIGNED INTO LAW
"The GENIUS Act creates a clear and simple regulatory framework to establish & unleash the immense promise of dollar-backed stablecoins. This could be perhaps the GREATEST revolution in financial technology since the birth of the internet itself."
The last major financial regulation bill was passed 15 years ago in response to the 2008 financial crisis.
Tomorrow, the signing of the GENIUS Act cements the US’s future in being a leader in truly innovative financial technology – stablecoins. This moment is a historic one, and I, for one, am looking forward to all that is to come as a result of this transformational legislation.
Thank you to the bipartisan leaders that got it done – @RepFrenchHill, @GOPMajorityWhip, @CongressmanGT, @RepAngieCraig, @RepDustyJohnson, @RepDonDavis, @RepBryanSteil, @RepRitchie, @SpeakerJohnson, and @RepJoshG.
Ripple is dropping our cross appeal, and the SEC is expected to drop their appeal, as they’ve previously said. We’re closing this chapter once and for all, and focusing on what’s most important – building the Internet of Value. Lock in.
Huge step in the right direction. Now, we need a precedent saying that the third-party doctrine can't apply when you have a contractual right to privacy because you do in fact reasonably expect that right to be honored.
Ripple Payments momentum is building in the UAE. 🇦🇪

Following our DFSA license, Zand Bank and @MamoPay are now live on Ripple Payments—bringing always-on, blockchain-powered cross-border payments to one of the world’s top remittance hubs.
Our President @MonicaLongSF had the honor of meeting with His Highness Ahmed bin Saeed at @DubaiFintechSum. We continue to be impressed with the leadership demonstrated by Dubai as it establishes itself as one of the world’s leading hubs for digital assets.
