@IntuitMachine Shouldn’t we better assume that our brain can do both (prediction - perceptual control), either separately or in a combined manner, depending on the task at stake?
FDA issued a final guidance, “Conducting Clinical Trials with Decentralized Elements,” as part of a multifaceted effort to help modernize trial design & conduct to improve efficiency and reduce burden on participants and on those conducting trials: https://t.co/1g71Z0VPA2
We issued a new draft guidance: Incorporating Voluntary Patient Preference Information over the Total Product Life Cycle, proposing recommendations on how patient preferences can be collected and shared with the FDA and be considered in decision-making. https://t.co/gjfRBZbNwP
Truth: "State of the art LLMs don't accurately diagnose patients (performing worse than physicians), don't follow guidelines, cannot interpret lab results, fail to follow instructions, and are sensitive to both the quantity and order of information." https://t.co/RRWYcgoMPe
Language is primarily a tool for communication rather than (complex) thought (Nature 2024, 630, 575-586) - interesting perspective that might also inform the ongoing LLM/AGI discussion

" The difference is we bring a high value program to the table that is low cost to participants and gives them access to lead players in the market. I've never seen a more collaborative open ecosystem like ours. That's the #Conv2X difference."

Foundation models (FMs) such as #ChatGPT have the potential to revolutionize healthcare. But what's hype and what's real?

@fchollet I would argue that X continues to the the destination but, of course, is not the outcome - in any case - your tweet inspires and creates diversity of thoughts which is the most important ingredient to drive innovation
When you say, "I'm going to build X", remember that X is actually your starting point, not your destination. You will start with X in mind, then you will keep iterating, and you will end up with a successful Y.
So don't be too anxious about perfectly nailing the initial concept.
@matthew_d_green Could not agree more! @Twitter used to have significant educational value and, unfortunately, has lost (should I say - has given up) a huge part of its appeal over the last years
