Republicans must rise to the occasion and not treat this legislation as an isolated state issue, but as part of a broader cultural trend that warrants a coordinated response at both the federal and state levels. Changes made in the name of inclusivity today usually have far-reaching consequences tomorrow, particularly given America's enormous cultural influence around the world.

Therefore, swift intervening measures such as strengthening parental rights protections, preserving the terms "mother" and "father" in legislation, expanding religious liberty safeguards, promoting family-centred tax policies, and advancing educational initiatives that emphasise the role of family, faith, and personal responsibility across all Republican controlled states and at the federal level are encouraged without delay.

David, I suspect that there was a palace coup in the Vatican. Pope Benedict resigned "for bad health." Popes never resign for health reasons. The last resignation occurred in 1294. They literally die on the job.
