Celibacy alone does not guarantee spiritual growth. In fact, spirituality is not defined by whether one is celibate or married.
A fulfilling spiritual life and a responsible material life can go hand in hand. One does not have to come at the expense of the other.
Throughout the Sanatana tradition, many revered rishis were married, raised families, and yet attained the highest levels of wisdom and realization.
Their lives remind us that genuine spirituality is measured by the purity of the heart, the depth of one's practice, and the way one lives, not by marital status.
#Heartfulness
Spirituality is the unveiling of reality. It is an experiential journey that leads to higher levels of consciousness.
It unlocks new knowledge and understanding, eventually taking us to our highest potential as human beings and beyond, into realms where we connect with the universal nature of existence.

Heartfulness, in collaboration with UPBTVP, is leading the Vraj Vaibhav Abhiyan, a mission to revive the sacred glory of Vraj Kshetra.
The divine land of Lord Krishna, home to 12 sacred forests (Vans) and 150+ holy Kunds, is facing severe ecological degradation from pollution, plastic waste, and neglect.
Through ecological restoration, heritage conservation, and community participation, we aim to restore Vraj to its pristine glory.
How You Can Help
* Volunteer for on-ground restoration drives.
* Donate to support tree plantation, Kund restoration, and waste management.
* Spread the word and inspire others to join the movement.
* Partner with us through CSR or by adopting a heritage site.
Together, let's restore the sacred legacy of Vraj.

1 day, K. S. Srinivasan, a student at Madras Christian College who had known Srinivasa Ramanujan from their days in Kumbakonam, visited him at Summer House in Madras.
"Ramanujan, people call you a genius," he remarked.
Ramanujan smiled & replied, "Genius? Look at my elbow. That will tell you the story."
His elbow was rough, dark & calloused. He worked almost entirely on a large slate, scribbling eqns at a furious pace. Instead of reaching for a cloth every time he needed to erase, he simply wiped the slate clean with his elbow. It was quicker, especially when he was completely absorbed in his mathematics.
"My elbow is making a genius of me," he joked.
Srinivasan then asked, "Why do not you use paper?"
"I cannot afford it," Ramanujan replied. Although he was receiving financial support from Ramachandra Rao, it was barely enough to cover his basic needs. To work the way he wanted, he estimated he would need ~4 reams of paper every month, an expense well beyond his means.
G.D Naidu was born on 23 March 1893 in a Telugu agrarian Kamma Naidu family at Kalangal, Coimbatore. He is also a symbol of how the Telugu community shaped the economy and society of the city of Coimbatore. The Telugu community has profoundly shaped Coimbatore since the Vijayanagara era, establishing the foundational cotton and textile trades.
Over centuries, these pioneering agriculturalists and entrepreneurs drove the city's transformation into the "Manchester of South India", revolutionizing engineering and cementing Coimbatore as a premier educational and industrial hub. The migration of cotton-farming Telugu families during the 14th-century Vijayanagara Empire laid the groundwork for the region's agricultural and textile prowess. They introduced cotton cultivation to the black soil of the Kongu region, establishing initial weaving centers in Sukravarpet.
Success in the cotton and engineering sectors prompted the Telugu diaspora to heavily invest in foundries, auto-parts manufacturing, and the city's broader Micro, Small, and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSME) ecosystem.=
Telugu-origin families and trusts have been instrumental in making Coimbatore an educational powerhouse, playing a pivotal role in the establishment and management of premier institutions like PSG College of Technology and PSG College of Arts and Science.
The community emphasized applied and technical education. Organizations and family-led trusts continuously facilitate student exchange programs, technology research partnerships, and industrial training ties.
Despite retaining a strong connection to their roots, the Telugu community has deeply assimilated into Tamil culture, with many adopting Tamil as their primary tongue. In sub-regions like Udumalpet, a unique dialect known as Kongu-Telugu has naturally evolved.
The community has actively shaped regional infrastructure, evidenced by areas and settlements named after early Telugu community leaders and "palayams" (e.g., Periya-Naicken-palayam, Telungu-palayam). Philanthropic efforts by Telugu-origin families and trusts have established numerous public welfare organizations and hospitals, improving the overall quality of life in Coimbatore. #Coimbatore #Telugu #CommunitySupport

In 1996, my grandmother bought 70 grams of gold for my parent's wedding for ₹33,000.
At the same time, my grandfather bought a 4 biswa (5000 sq ft) plot of land for ₹40,000.
Today, that gold is worth around ₹11 lakh.
That same plot of land is worth around ₹20 lakh.
Together, ₹73,000 worth of assets became more than ₹31 lakh.
The crazy part?
They made those decisions without YouTube, finance influencers, stock market podcasts, or smartphones.
Just patience, common sense, and long-term thinking.
The more I grow up, the more I realize our grandparents understood wealth creation far better than most of us do today.
They didn't chase trends.
They bought assets and gave them time.
And time rewarded both.
