Integrating ProteinMPNN sequence design with autonomous laboratory evolution, we establish a workflow to engineer enzymes with improved properties over those evolved from natural proteins. Whenever I see Petunia's I always remember being in a 2nd year uni course and being told that RNAi was first found in petunias in 1986 but they didn't find the mechanism for it 😔
I found that H2O2 treatment of Petunia flowers creates a "nightsky" like pattern 😯
It's known oxidation degrades anthocyanins, but the pattern was unexpected!
