My new work AI videowork "Dear Cyborg" is nominated for the Weimar Poetryfilmaward!

⛓️ In Dear Cyborg I intertwine poetry and AI-generated imagery to trace a genealogy from silkworm to loom to computer.

🗨️ The medium itself speaks: AI becomes visible through poetry, language and generated images surface together and continually call each other into being.

🪡 Verses turn into prompts, prompts into images—a circular process in which poetry appears as living code, as textile, as interface between body, system, and image.

I’m very happy that "Dear Cyborg" will be shown in this year’s Nominated Films program in Weimar!

Sadly, I won't be able to make it to the #NFC in Lisbon. Due to the strike, my original flight, as well as two replacement flights, were cancelled between Saturday and Tuesday. I tried everything to make it work, but in the end there was simply no way to get there by plane before Friday afternoon. Therefore I will do my workshops online.

Today, I spoke with UBERMORGEN about conceptual hacks, rage bait, markets, and the art of uncertainty.

»We don't see ourselves as missionaries, or as artists with a singular vision that needs to be imposed on the world. That's closer to what rage bait means to me. We're more interested in identifying topics that resonate with a general or a specific audience. Once people have hooked their teeth into something, that's where the play begins.

Scammers often rely on urgency and excitement. Taking a minute to verify can save a collection, a wallet, or your personal information.
