The future of the decentralized Internet is on sale!

When $ICP traded above $300, speculation was wild and the risk was incredibly high. The network was new, adoption was limited, and much of the technology was still unproven.

Now #ICP trades in the low $2s— the network is live and has evolved, the technology works, development continues, and adoption is expanding.

The price collapsed while the fundamentals improved.

Ironically, people were eager to buy when the risk was highest.

Now that the valuation is tiny and much of the technology risk has been reduced, the market is afraid to buy.

Price shapes perception—but price and risk are not the same thing!

⚠️ Deze bewering is door meerdere media gemeld, maar is nog niet onafhankelijk bevestigd door Amazon of de autoriteiten van Bahrein.

Dit is niet zomaar een nieuwe cloudstoring.

🚨 Gecentraliseerde cloudinfrastructuur is nu een fysiek oorlogsdoel geworden.

De IRGC had eerder al 18 grote Amerikaanse technologiebedrijven, waaronder Microsoft, Google, Apple en Intel, als legitieme doelwitten aangemerkt. Volgens Iran ondersteunen hun technologieën Amerikaanse militaire en inlichtingenoperaties.

Eerdere Iraanse aanvallen beschadigden ook AWS-faciliteiten in Bahrein en de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten, wat leidde tot structurele schade, stroomuitval en verstoringen van kritieke diensten.

🚨 $ICP HAS REACHED 50 SUBNETS — THE WORLD COMPUTER IS EXPANDING ♾️

The Internet Computer has reached another major infrastructure milestone:

• 50 subnets
• 190.13 blocks finalized every second
• 3,371 native transactions per second
• 89,740 Ethereum-equivalent transactions per second
• 8,819 million instructions executed per second
• 1,157,074 canister smart contracts
• 3,194,104 Internet Identities
• 104 node providers
• 827 node machines actively assigned to subnets
• 1,558 total registered node machines
• Operations distributed across 33 countries

The increase from 49 to 50 subnets occurred on 9 July 2026, when NNS Proposal 142743 passed and created the Internet Computer’s second SEV-enabled confidential-computing subnet.

The new subnet consists of seven Gen2 nodes operating across seven locations:

• Hong Kong
• Seoul
• Melbourne
• Gauteng
• Warsaw
• San José
• Navi Mumbai

It was created with AMD SEV confidential-computing capabilities and is initially intended to host MULTI/DEX, providing stronger protection for application execution and data held in memory.

This is what real blockchain scaling looks like.

Not one overloaded chain.

Not applications pretending to be decentralized while depending on centralized cloud servers.

$ICP scales by adding sovereign subnet blockchains that increase compute capacity, application capacity and network resilience.

Over 1.15 million canisters are already deployed.

Over 3.19 million Internet Identities have been created.

The network is executing billions of instructions while finalizing more than 190 blocks every second.

And now the Internet Computer has reached 50 subnets.

The infrastructure is expanding.

Confidential computing is going live.

On-chain applications are becoming more powerful.

The World Computer is not waiting for the future.
