@emptywheel Curly Wurly (I think you've got a few there) is similar to the Marathon Bar (in the US) from long ago. For a few years I ordered them from the UK and gave them out to kids in New Jersey who were very appreciative! They're not bad but one or two is enough for a year.
"Is art still art when it is made by a digital construct? What do we lose when human emotions & creativity are replaced by digital facsimiles? Who owns [AI art]? If an artist is the one employing AI, does end product have more artistic credibility?"

@FRHoffmann1 @Cslither973 @AVindman If you think X is bad at showing you people you follow, Threads is somehow worse. They seem so desperate for engagement -> give you BS notifications & repeatedly try to show you algorithmic content. I hate X now (bots+Nazis+porn pollution), but Following seems to work for me.
"We believe that the unconventional nature of abstract art encourages the brain to enter a different state, relaxing its default perceptual predictions to accommodate the unusual sensory input."
(I love the use of an Oscar Bluemner painting; one of my favorite artists.)
