Did you know we are the only journal dedicated to research on membrane contact sites? And yet the scope is wide - from lipidology to applications in human disease. Check it out: https://t.co/jwvCl0nnY6
Now published in @LSAjournal. Congratulations to all authors! Extending sincere thanks to my mentor @RPadinjat. An excellent collaboration with @AlpyFabien lab and shout out to all master students involved in this study! Many thanks to @India_Alliance!

Greetings from Sunny Cancun! Our #MCS24 attendees have been busy making new “Contacts” this weekend! We cannot wait to celebrate all the fantastic research at our Gala Dinner this evening! ☀️💃🕺
Are you an ECR working on membrane contact sites? Share your science at the @Fusion_Conf MCS24 meeting, Feb 8-11 2024 in Cancun! We have several registration grants to reduce the cost of your participation and grants for childcare support. See you in Cancun! LS
Considering your next conference? Be part of #MCS24 in beautiful Cancun, February 8 to 11, 2024! Engage with the vibrant contact sites community, and contribute to shape its future. Numerous speaking opportunities available, particularly for early career scientists. LS
In the present study we have explored how the lipid transfer function can be regulated at the PM-ER contact sites in the context of a signalling process, phototransduction. Combination of a proteomic screen, genetic screens and an ERG screen. (1/4)
@AlpyFabien and his group used proteomics to find VAP FFAT binding interactors and this specific VAPome was used in a genetic screen using rdgB9 hypomorphic flies where we knocked down each VAP interactor ortholog in the rdgB9 and checked retinal degeneration.
rdgB genetic interactors were then subjected to a secondary genetic screen in norpAp24 background using the same strategy. To check if any of the rdgB genetic interactor has its direct role in phototransduction, we did an ElectroRetinoGram screen on 52 candidates.
Many thanks to my mentor @RPadinjat for giving this opportunity and @India_Alliance , @serbonline N-PDF and @NCBS_Bangalore bridging fellowship for their generous support. Many congratulations to all our co-authors involved in this study.
@MorieLAB @PalancadeLab @Eric_Chevet Congratulations Maria! It was a real pleasure to have the opportunity to hear about your research and projects. Thank you so much for the invitation.
And it's always a pleasure to visit @CRBM_Montpel@IRIM_life @IGMM_Montpel.
Arf1-PI4KIIIβ positive vesicles regulate PI(3)P signaling to facilitate lysosomal tubule fission, say Maxime Boutry, Peter Kim @SickKidsNews and colleagues https://t.co/Mwjc85ZdCf

Boutry, Kim et al. @SickKidsNews show that Arf1-PI4KIIIβ positive vesicles participate in the fission of lysosomal tubules through lysosomal PI(3)P regulation. https://t.co/Mwjc85YFMH
